This restaurant is rated quite decently so I decided to check it out and grab something quick and be on my way.
Unfortunately, they got my order wrong. One of the workers tried to get me to take the wrong order saying “Just take it, this item’s more expensive”. Okay? Great, but that’s not what I ordered. It’s a bit presumptuous to think I didn’t order that because of the two dollar price difference. Not only that, she was mad that I didn’t want to accept the wrong order.
Once the order was remade, she just slapped my food on the counter and it nearly fell off the other side. Speaking of which, that counter is very dirty and seems like it doesn’t get cleaned. It doesn’t make sense to have food sitting on such a dirty counter when you serve it.
The rude worker also put my napkin on top of the sandwich so the underside was covered in sauce.
The BBQ salmon sandwich tasted quite alright actually. However, the fish was barely rare on the inside. It was closer to raw, honestly, despite being cooked on the outside. I didn’t make a fuss about that though since I assume this place freezes its fish anyway and salmon can be cooked raw.
The clam chowder is decent, but considering it says it’s the best clam chowder in the area, that’s surprising.
I noticed that the staff also treated Hispanic customers a lot nicer. I noticed that before the rude worker got mad at me for not accepting a wrong order, at which point she just confirmed my suspicions.
I’ll never come here again and hope others read this review and consider it before ordering.

The BBQ salmon on bannock bread was excellent as was the fish and chips. My complaint would be the picture depicting the salmon sandwich is shown with fries. When I was handed a sandwich without fries I asked where the fries were. The girl responded “They’re only included in the picture. Sorry.” Seriously? I’m surprised the soda came with a cup.
