Went for my birthday dinner last week and really enjoyed myself. We had a shrimp platter, oysters, crab sampler, seafood pasta and a shrimp scampi. Almost everything was amazing, I was very disappointed in the coleslaw though. The key lime pie at the end was good but was a little soft as if it sat out for a bit. The service was good, very friendly. The front part of the restaurant can get warm so if able, sit in the back. I I’ll definitely be back again!

We have driven by this place many times on our way to St. Petersburg and noticed that the parking lot is usually full. We both really enjoyed seafood and decided to give it a try. They have a wide variety of seafood options but decided to order crab since it is in their name. They had crab platters and four different crab samplers to choose from. I ordered the third one, centered around blue crab, and it was delicious. Everything was excellent. It is a great place for people who really enjoy seafood. Our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable about seafood and their menu with excellent suggestions.

Great service. Our wait staff was great. Very attentive to our needs. Really enjoyed the place as the vibe met the no frills, which is what I like. Food came out quick and was good.

I’ve been wanting to eat here since I moved to Tampa in 2020, not sure if it was because I was there on a Sunday at 7 pm to eat but they were out of a lot food! They brought our dinner out first forgot our appetizer and salads . We both had a baked potato which was burned and over baked! I asked for another and the manager told us they only had a few left and they were all probably the same way! Was not in the mood to wait for fries or anything else. She offered us a free dessert which was a peanut butter chocolate cake! Got it to go and it was so good!! I will go back because I saw a fish dinner being served and it looked good! I want to give them more stars but i was expecting better. Worth the second chance!

food was pretty good, okay prices but huge portions. peanut butter pie was great! i only had one major problem that really irked me and that was the fact my pepsi had a gross greasy film on it, as well as these white flakes (see attached photo). i have no idea what this was and it didnt really effect the drink but i believe it couldve been some sort of mold or mildew build up! maybe the soda machines need to have a good cleaning? i could finish my drink and honestly had a hard time stomaching the rest of my food because of it but service was great considering how overwhelmingly busy it was. apps were very yummy! gator bites are pictured below

OMG, I loved this little shack. We had lunch at the Crab Shack on Gandy Blvd on 4-22-2023 and the food and service were Absolut amazing. If ever in the Tampa area again, I will definitely stop in again.
