My experience at the Crab Pot Lounge was pretty decent overall. The food had good flavor, but the crab meat this time was sticking to the shell, which made it a little difficult to pull out and enjoy fully. The turkey necks, potatoes, corn, and shrimp were seasoned nicely and had a satisfying taste. The atmosphere was laid-back, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. I’ve had better experiences here in the past, but overall, it was still a solid seafood outing that hit the spot.

I love this place! I recommend it to all my co-workers! My first trip here was when I came to a line dance event there in the summer. Every time I come now, I am recognized by name from the owner, greeted warmly by one of their beautiful daughters, and the last time I went, I received a full Prophecy from Tony. He’s a very good guy and the family, and I wish plenty of blessings upon. Oh yeah, and the food is 10 out of 10. The play I have showcased here is called Bre’s special.

First off I do not work here so this is an honest and very real review! The food here is hands down the absolute best seasoned seafood boil I have EVER eaten period! This food is addictive! At the moment you probably should call in your order for pick-up, and best you do so by morning or very early afternoon, because the food is so good they often sell out, yeah really they sell out! I have no clue what Tony, the owner, uses to come up with his recipe but wow does it work. It’s definitely not just simply sprinkled with Old Bay Seasoning! He gives a lot of food for your money. The portions are large, at minimum ⅓ to ½ more than The Juicy Crab but oddly less costly (read that again!). The Juicy Crab needs to take lessons from this place. Trust me when I say this place really is finger licking good! I do not think you will be disappointed!

Great service, phenomenal food with generous portions and the seasoning is *chef’s kiss*. The owner, Tony, is very personable, real cool dude who is very on top of everything and quick with getting the orders done so you’re not waiting for forever for your food which is a plus. Came all the way from NE just to order from here again! I can’t get enough!

The customer service was stupendous! We have been going here for years stopped for a while because I no longer get my hair done near the area. However, my mom and I made the trip to order their delicious plates. My mom loves their blue crabs and I love their neckbones/corn/potatoes/sausage/crab legs. Tasty, flavorful, and scrumptious! We come from Stone Mountain to get to Old National for their food. The food lasted us 3 days so no need to cook lol. Highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends!

OK, OK OK. It is only fair that I update my review of this restaurant. I originally complained about the operating hours for this restaurant, however, I was notified that the restaurant was closed that week. I have since been able to visit this restaurant Four times, in a very short amount of time. The food is really just that good. This place hands-down has the best crab legs on the south side. The crabs at this location are thick and meaty, not overcooked, and seasoned to perfection. I have tried pretty much all of the crab locations on the southside and this place knocks the others out of the ballpark by a long shot. You will definitely get your moneys worth at this location. Out of my four visit these were the “smallest” (not really small) crab legs, they served me and they made up for it by putting in an extra claw without me requesting. That is how you do it people! That’s business integrity, and they have definitely locked me in as a regular customer. I cannot speak for the other items on the menu as I always get snow crabs. I now recommend this place to people that don’t even live on the southside because it is worth the drive.

For the price, this was overall just decent. My wife had the Bre’ne Special, while I had the Oyster, Shrimp & Fish platter (wall menu said conch & scallops would be included but they said they don’t do that anymore. Ok, the goods:
My wife – She was upset because her potatoes were just chopped in half & the neck bones were just bones with the most limited meat on them as possible. Both of those were taking up the most space & the shrimp didn’t have much flavor. The crab was good though.
Mine – Everything was battered & had a pretty good taste. The hush puppies were a nice addition, although there were only about 3 of them, a bit smaller than the size of donut holes (inconsistent sizes). I also had a side of turkey necks & those were bangin’!
If it was just mine, I’d give it a 4, but since my wife wasn’t a fan, she’s at a 2. Together we’re at a 3. If I could give a 2.5 collectively, I would because of the price. It’s almost $50 per person if you were doing an average, & there’s other locations out there that pile on the offerings for that amount, with sides. Those turkey necks push it back up to 3, despite what my wife’s thinks.
I will say that the cashier hostess was great (didn’t see a name tag)!

Charging $5-$10 more while the quality and quantity has been reduced is crazy. No longer will come here. This use to be my main seafood boil spot. Usually get Stephanie special for $35 plus tax. Now it’s $45!!!! Everything was overcooked. Crab legs was small and empty, pre cooked shrimp with shell on and NOT deviled, corn is corn, potatoes were curly evenly and not a lot, the cheapest sausages if had in decades, egg is egg and the music was just salty and there wasn’t a lot of it. Never again. No reason to jump prices that high when seafood in ga is at its cheapest at whike sale prices

My first time going and it was delicious. Food was very fresh and hot. Didn’t take a long time to come out either! The owner was very nice and attentive while juggling taking orders, bringing them out to customers and fixing the plates! I will be going back.

The food is so delicious and cooked fresh for you. They take call in orders.
The staff is always polite.
The restaurant is clean and there is plenty of parking.
Today I had fried shrimp with potatoes and boiled eggs drenched in scrumptious garlic butter. (The shrimp didn’t make it into the attached picture because they were eaten before I could make it home )
It’s not fast food and it’s definitely worth the wait
