Classic spot in Rockport Texas! Great food as always with a pretty water front view. Flounder was killer so was the crab cake, blackened redfish was subpar though with a lack of spice IMO. Would still reccomend

We came here last year during our summer beach trip. It was just as memorable with the awesome service and beautiful view. Our food was fresh and delicious. Everything was made to order and came out in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommended the Fried Seafood Platter! Dessert is on point here. No playing around in the kitchen; these cooks got it going on.

We have been going there for many years and know the owner and all the staff. Wonderful food and casual relaxed family friendly atmosphere. Shrimp, fish, crab cakes, garlic mashed potatoes, salads and fresh bread rolls are all great. They have a hot fudge sundae with homemade hot fudge that is wonderful. Key lime is great too.

I’ve been several times now. A year or so back it was a bit off, but last night and the times more recently have been great. Definitely a place to hit up if down visiting!!
We brought our own fish and had it fried and blackened. Well done, y’all!! It was delicious. The sides were a fantastic compliment too.
Will definitely become a regular feeding hole for me, family and friends. Thank you staff for a wonderful experience.

We waited years before trying this place. Some people told us it was good and we were excited to finally make a date with friends to do so. We had heard it was pricey. Price did not seem to be an issue as the menu prices were in the range of other seafood restaurants we had been to. First of all there were four of us. We tried to order a reasonably priced bottle of wine to share and the waitress came back to tell us they were out of our choice and we found there was no alternative except in the high price range. They had not restocked after Valentine’s Day. We made some other choices. The food we ordered seemed reasonable. The difference between this place and others was obvious when the food was served. It took a very long time for plates to arrive. Some salads were served. The bread came late although it was warm and fresh, but we had to ask for butter. Then more time passed and the first plate arrived by itself. There were 3 more of us waiting for food. A large white plate with very small scallops and a scoop of mashed potatoes was set down in front of our friend. His eyes were bigger than the scallops . It was pathetic and not very appetizing. There as no garnish at all. We waited and waited and finally the other plates started to arrive. Again no garnish and the smallest shrimp and scallops we had ever seen. The sides were another disappointment. The green beans were overcooked, the pecan wild rice was dry and had a few crumbs of pecans (no flavor)and the spicy black beans and corn had very little beans with corn that did not seem fresh and was also overcooked. We arrived at about 5:15 on a Monday and the place was not that busy. There seemed to be a lot of people working in the kitchen. It was hard to fathom the reason behind our experience. Needless to say, this is something we probably won’t repeat or recommend.

Food was good. Not great. Not spectacular(for the price at least)
If you’re gonna have a wedding and close off most of your seating area, you should maybe close down the restaurant. (Just a suggestion)
And whenever you’re waitress dumps all the drinks and appetizer on the customer– please take care of the bill– Not just free appitizer.. or a free shirt!– the customer should at least get the drinks free as well(especially since he had to wear the drinks soaking wet and sitting outside because of a wedding going on!) — Not mention the humiliation he had to experience with the outside being full of customers seeing all of this play out!

Brought in our catch of the day, Sea Trout, and had them grilled with a shrimp and crab butter cream sauce with asparagus and garlic mashed taters. It was amazing. Was recommended to us by our boat charter guy Tim and he was spot on, best meal we have had in the area bar none & the Pina Colada cocktail is the best I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and go! You won’t regret it.

The wait was only 15 minutes on a Saturday night, the restaurant is very loud, drink was pretty good I had the pomegranate lemon drop.
Spinach artichoke dip was good
Fried seafood platter was terrible the fish is a white fish and it’s not fresh. Oysters had a very thick batter on them. Shrimp and fish batter fell right off. The pasta and the various sauces is very good.
For the prices I expected much better food.
The hostess was very kind and greeted us kindly.

My boyfriend spent his summers in Rockport as a child and told me, it was always a treat to come to Crab-N. He took me here during our weekend getaway in Rockport.
I loved the ambience and the view of the water we had during dinner. All of the staff was super nice and pleasant. We each had a cup of shrimp and lobster bisque to start off our dinner, and it was delicious. I had the scallops, and my boyfriend had the fried seafood platter. We each had a salad as one of our sides. We shared a Keylime pie for dessert.
All of the food was absolutely delicious. All the ingredients in every dish tasted so fresh. I would 10/10 recommend hitting this place up if you are in the Rockport area.

Hey friends! I’ve shared about this place before but it’s so good that it earns a repeat! Crab N in Aransas Pass @ 210 Gulf Gate Rd. is matchless when it comes to their seafood paired with their housemade sauces!
Follow them on FB as they’re always promoting specials or events – tonight it was half priced appetizers (scored my favorite!) along with $3 margaritas (not for me but my friends enjoyed)!
And ask for Hannah; she is their best waitress in my humble opinion! ♀️
