Crab Island & Sushi is a true gem in Lake Elsinore! Their cuisine is fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I tried the ikura sushi, chicken karaage, gyoza, and tonkotsu ramen, and each dish was outstanding. The karaage was exceptionally crispy and juicy, the gyoza was perfectly pan-fried, and the ramen had a deep, smoky flavor, complemented by moist pork and black garlic oil that brought all the flavors together.
The service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend it if you’re a fan of Japanese comfort food or seafood. I’ll definitely be back!

Cozy place, great vibes, good food. We had a little bit of everything except the boiled stuff so we’ll have to come back for that. What we did get was Pork Gyoza, chicken Kara-age, garlic noodles, Cajun fries, Albacore with crispy onions, and salmon roll. Overall a great place.

Absolutely DELICIOUS. Would give this place a 6th star if I could. We had two Combo #2 with snow crab and Cajun garlic butter. The best boil I’ve had to date. So much food for such a decent price. Our server was amazing and checked on us regularly for refills. Constant flow of customers that just goes to show how well loved this place is.

This is a local gem and a hole-in-the-wall. While it isn’t a large restaurant, the ambiance is beautiful and very, very clean. Our waitress was attentive, helped us immediately, and regularly checked on us. My boyfriend and I ordered the Combo #1 with Crawfish, Shrimp, and Mussels with the house sauce. We were delighted. The shrimp and mussels were large, and the boil came with a lot of sauce. Combo #1 was a perfect size to share between the two of us. I already foresee this being a regular date spot. 10/10 would recommend.

I got the combo it comes with salad, ramen noodles soup, and dumplings are made fresh. I am bringing my husband, hehe. I can’t wait for him to taste the broth. This place is clean. Cathy is friendly, and she said the chef has been there broth for over 10 years plus. When I ask about the dumplings, it is made fresh every day. So, tender and soft. Great customer services. Ramen flavor is yummy, I forgot to add that the bamboo is tender and pork is tender, too. Everything tastes so good. I wish I could finish the broth cause it has a good flavor, not overpowering. I went early when it was not many people, when it open.

This restaurant has amazing food!!! The service, however, is lacking in such a way that it inspired me to write a review. I pulled up there last night at nine o’clock knowing that they didn’t close until ten. The young lady looked completely annoyed through the window and went to the back to put away her mop. And then all the lights in the restaurant went out, indicating that it was closed. We went somewhere else, but I called the restaurant. And the man who answered the phone insisted, they were open. Too late, we went somewhere else. This is the second time that I have gone there. The first time I actually got a seat and ate alone. I was blown away by the food but the service was horrible that day as well. I ordered a beer in the young lady came to the table cracked it open right in front of the table, and then set it down while it was bubbling over the top and walked away. No offer of a towel to help clean it up. No acknowledgement at all to the fact that the beer was water falling down the bottle all over the table. I hoped it was just a bad night and went back because the food was amazing.. I may order from this restaurant again.But I will definitely order takeout.
When anyone goes out to spend money on meal you need great food, but you also need great service! It isn’t gonna be the chef who kills this restaurant. It will be the lack of service.

We had an extremely upsetting and unprofessional experience. The hostess — an Asian girl with blonde ends — was incredibly rude and dismissive from the moment we spoke to her. We politely asked how long the wait time was, and instead of answering or helping us, she bluntly said, “No, we’re really busy,” and refused to let us in or give us any information.
Her attitude was openly disrespectful and made us feel completely unwelcome. When my sister went back inside to ask again, the hostess said, “I’m done,” and walked to the back, abandoning the interaction entirely. This level of customer service is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. We were treated with unnecessary hostility for simply asking a basic question, and it left a very negative impression of the business.

Small spot but great service and food was good. My only real complaint is my son and I both ordered dungeons crab his was completely a different size than mine. I feel I got the kids portion. I had zero claws.

This is definitely a solid spot to go to. It is a bit pricey, but I feel the quality and service is worth that price. Really good food. Great, superb customer service. Sushi is some of the best I have had in the area. I am excited to try out some seafood boil sometime.

Great family owned restaurant. Owners, Leo and Kathy are very nice and the service and food are outstanding. Our server Tanya checked on us often and even took our photo to hang on the wall. I highly recommend!
