Just visited last night for the 3rd time in about 9 years. Went back for nostalgic reasons with my kids. Nine years makes a difference. The service has declined. Waited endlessly for the food. When it did arrive the quality was less than mediocre. One entree was the scallops. They were burnt on the outside, raw in the middle. The kids meals were freezer to table deep fried. The portions small, and expensive, and as I just mentioned not rescued by quality. Back to service, the service team, showed they just didn’t care, walked by table, left used empty plates stacked, but made sure to push the drinks. Need I say more. If you go, enjoy the view, sit at the bar and see for yourself.

I visited Crab House for the first time with some friends to have lunch/dinner and cocktails and I was amazed at the view. The place is beautiful and just fell in love with the scenario. The food was delicious and be sure you try the rice (awesome). Unfortunately the service was just horrible. The service just takes away from the beauty of this place. For the money you pay and the type of restaurant it appears to be I expected better service.

So we planned to come here due to a friend telling us happy hour was on sundays. We drive 45 minutes and is told by a stank attitude hostess that they stopped happy hour and also if we sit outside we cannot come back in. Then we ask to speak to a manager, and she says they changed happy hour and alot of customers will be upset and there is nothing she can do, shes sorry. So instead of offering us a complimentary drink or appetizers she sat us. Revamp your customer service!

Love the location anytime you can eat on the water without having to drive to the beach gotta love. Great service love the lobster and raw bar is excellent. My favorite is to go for a nice walk along the water after dinner.

The seafood was fresh and well prepared. We ate at the bar and were serviced by 3 lovely servers who were attentive, upbeat and friendly. It was an excellent dining experience and I’m looking forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu!

Last night, we were going out for my brother’s birthday. We decided to come here because of our fine previous experience. As soon as we walk in, we were greeted by 3-4 hosteses, and they seat us in the middle of all these people. We then asked to be moved outside until we realize people are fishing right next to us while we eat. One wrong move on their part, our eyes are coming right out. So, we move upstairs to their second level. Meanwhile, our waitress says its warmer in there, so we follow her. Nevertheless there are about 30 stairs to go up and our grandmother with bad knees was with us. We finally sit down and the fan right above our table is blowing on full speed. We ask them to turn it off, and about 15 minutes later it’s still on. My dad has to go onto a chair and shut it off himself because my grandmother was FREEZING. It was colder in there than it was outside. As dinner finally came after waiting approximately an hour, these people next to us start arguing with the waitress because everyone else at her table had their food except her. Our waitress was working the whole top floor and downstairs. (Take one of the 3-4 hostesses who were just standing there uselessly and use her as a waitress to help?) All of a sudden while another half hour goes by waiting for our waitress to bring our credit card back after three attempts of saying it failed when there was really nothing wrong with it after getting off the phone with the credit card company, a woman screams out of nowhere, and then we hear loud banging on the table. My mom gets up and turns around and screams on top of her lungs herself in response. Everyone turns their heads and it was silent. A cockroach fell from the ceiling onto their table. The manager comes up and doesn’t even offer to refund them, and moves them downstairs. He comes over to us and explains what we just went through with the credit card, the long wait, and now the cockroach and doesn’t even offer us any compensation. As we left, I saw a cockroach crawl under the lamp-post right outside the restaurant. Totally ridiculous place to eat, and the food and portions are a disgrace. I am surprised this place is still in business, because I could compare our experience here to a circus, or even mental institution with all that commotion.Never, ever, ever again.

Place was dead but not empty. Service was terrible, maybe it was just the waitress but probably worst I’ve had and I never complain unless someone is absolutely terrible.
Food is way overpriced for what you get, and it’s just OK not even really good.
This place is probably only good if you want to sit outside and have a drink and appetizer otherwise stay away.

Bar service was the way to go. The happy hour prices are really good. The place was dead otherwise, but I would assume it gets more crowded during the warmer weather. The place was also a bit outdated and needs some fresh paint to spruce it up.

My hubby came thru while i was still training just 2 show support and not only when he asked if the frutti de mari could come with spaghetti instead of thick noodles the Server said NO. My hubby opened his Own bottle of champagne after he previously ordered his first bottle of wine. Is it considered great customer service when a customer is opening there own bottle of champagne?
