From the food to the drinks to the live dj.The strawberry Hennessey is a hit! The customer service is exceptional. The owner is cool and down to earth. All of the food is good. Must visit if you’re in the Hoover area at the galleria and looking for a good seafood spot. This is the place to be!!!

Great atmosphere and food was fabulous. GiGi our server was on point, checking back with us several times during our meal. Loved the shrimp cocktail! Manager Ronnie checked on us as well. We took home some gumbo which was excellent. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend!

We went today and had the absolute best experience. My husband ordered the Combo B which includes 1/2 pound shrimp 1/2 pound crawfish and 1/2 pound snow crab. He ordered extra corn on the cob. Corn and potatoes came with the meal. We ordered a crab cake and gumbo as appetizers. Then I ordered the pound of shrimp. We also ordered the side of Cajun fries. The service was excellent. Our waiter checked on us continuously. We were very happy with the food and overall experience. The flavor pictured was Cajun sauce with medium level spice.

Today, was my first time going to Crab Du Jour (my daughter requested to go for her 14th Bday after going with her best friend on last month). The food was hot, good and the service was exceptional. It did not take long for us to receive our order. The server (JaCory) was very polite, mannerable and was very sure to make sure we were ok. How could I forget the music… I’m sitting there the entire time just jamming to the music…not knowing that when we got ready to leave and walked up front, they literally have a have a live DJ in here. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience.

Crab Du Jour is a great place for seafood of all types! My wife & I have had King Crab Legs, fried fish, shrimp, oysters & the fried calamari. Their food beats any other seafood restaurant that we’ve visited hands down! The booths & tables are cleaned well & restrooms are also clean. We always feel welcomed here! The only thing that we dislike a little is that the hip hop music is sometimes too loud.

This place is my new spot!!! Came last week, and here tonight…it hit different after the mall closes. The food is exceptional and the customer service is unmatchable. The owner is mad cool and likes to interact with his patrons…the vibe and energy is always good and welcoming…been to a few seafood spots in the area, but this one is my favorite!!! As a chef who specializes in seafood, I must say I am very impressed. The food was brilliant. They had very authentic Cajun flavors and the presentation was superb. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is due to the service, the servers don’t seem to have a good system in place for greeting and seating and their attitude left a lot to be desired. Not the worst service I’ve ever had but far from the best. However, the food, atmosphere, and prices are unbeatable. Do yourself a favor and stop by.
