Always solid. Everything on the menu tastes exactly like you want it to. Good fries. Im a hot dog fan at this place. The chili dog is fire. Just get it with chili and thank me later. It’s been there since I was a youngster and I’m almost 60 so they are doing something right.

I have been here twice so far and want to keep returning. I highly recommend the Ditka Spicey Polish, the meat is damn good and has a nice kick to it and with the fresh soft Turano bread and onions it tastes similar but better than a stadium polish. Each bite made me think of baseball. They have one of the best hot dogs in the area, no wonder Vienna gave them an award, well deserved! I tried the super dog too, very tasty. I want to try a few more things and I will be back!

I grew up in Cicero and have been stopping at Cozzi Corner for good food. They were on 35th and Central Ave and I lived around 31st and Central Ave. Still the same good food in Downers Grove location.

As a trucker I always try to find great places to eat while on the road. I found this gem out of pure luck and I was glad I did. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The food is by far the best since I’ve been driving! This is the first time I having an Italian beef sandwich and it was phenomenal!!! If I’m ever in this part of the city I’ll definitely comeback for more!

Wendy, Alex, The Kids, and Mom do a great job. They could fill a place twice as big. I go almost weekly and am never disappointed.

I stopped by to get away from the freezing temperatures and needed a quick snack. I had the gyro with everything and it was bigger than the picture made it look. It was also really good. Would come again

Good Italian Beefs. These are real Chicago style Italian Beefs with a generous portion at a good price. If your in the area drive right past the ubiquitous Buena and Portillios and have yourself a real Chicago Italian Beef! Also props to the owners for generously hosting one of Chicagolands beat cruise nights every Tuesday until the weather gets too cold, unlike most others who cut it off after Labor Day.

I recently stopped by this local spot and tried the eggplant sandwich—wow! It was absolutely delicious and surprisingly large. The portion size alone makes it a great value, and the flavors were spot on. The eggplant was well-seasoned, not greasy, and had the perfect texture—crispy on the outside while remaining soft and savory on the inside. The bread was fresh and held everything together nicely without getting too soggy.

While the food definitely delivered, the customer service could use a bit of improvement. The staff wasn’t exactly rude, but they weren’t particularly welcoming or enthusiastic either. A friendlier attitude would go a long way toward creating a more inviting atmosphere, especially for new customers. Train the young people that smiles and kindness go a long way and they should do more than just shout names and orders.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, with limited seating and a fairly dated interior. It has that classic “hole-in-the-wall” feel, which some might find charming, but it could benefit from a few upgrades or even just a fresh coat of paint and better seating.

If you plan to visit during a car show or other community event, be prepared for a wait—the place gets crowded quickly. Despite a few shortcomings, the food is definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re a fan of hearty vegetarian options.

I got a Ditka Special Monster Polish with no mustard and it was delicious. It’s wasn’t too spicy. Everyone inside was nice and the picnic tables outside were perfect for us. Other things we ordered were Chicken Tenders, Vanilla Shake, hot dog, fries, and mozzarella sticks; everything tasted great!! I’m definitely going back to try some of the other things on the menu!
