I was so excited after watching them put so much into the relocation. Hoping the quality would be better. It’s been a wait. The place is clean, new with a touch of soft Mediterranean style. The waitresses are sweet, and on top of things. But.. the food was still lacking. How do you mess up scrambled eggs, gyros meat. It was all over cooked hard meat and floating in oil. And I gather from the chatter the Big Boss was cooking. But, I would never serve that even to my family. When mentioned to the server, she kindly apologizes and bows her head. She didn’t cook it, but has to serve.
I will probably try again… carefully. It definitely was not worth 17.79. If you see the pictures I couldn’t finish it.

the food here was pretty solid. Did not have much issue with the service either so far. I think the people could be a little nicer overall. However, not sure if that was just their default attitude to most of the customers there or if that was just one person at the time. the only thing that i did not really like were the bite marks on all the cups. I understand that with an establishment this old, that not everything will be up to super high level standards. however, once i saw the bite marks on the cups, it made me feel really uncomfortable drinking out of it. other than that, it was a pretty solid expereince.

We stopped here while waiting for a nearby tire repair. The wait was reasonable. The staff was not unprofessional, but they were not particularly friendly either.

We ordered a make-your-own omelet, pancakes, oatmeal, and additional items for the children. I ordered a Benedict omelet with sausage instead of ham, with pancakes, and tomatoes instead of hash browns.

While some items were correct, several were not. My omelet came with ham instead of sausage, and hash browns were served instead of the tomatoes I requested. The children’s meals were also incorrect, and extra items we did not order were brought to the table.

I was not concerned about receiving extra food. However, we were charged for everything that was brought out, including items we did not order, and we were charged for the tomato substitution that we did not receive.

The only correction I requested was the sausage instead of ham. The waitress took my plate back, returned, and insisted it was sausage. It clearly was not; it appeared to be ham cut into rectangular pieces.

At the end of the meal, when I asked whether my brother had left a tip, the server told me he had not. He later confirmed he left a $12 tip on the receipt.

Overall, there were multiple order errors, incorrect charges, an unwillingness to correct a mistake, and what felt like dishonesty regarding the tip. Very disappointing experience.

This was my first time at this breakfast place. We got there at 9am on a Sunday and there was a table open. By the time we left there was a line of people waiting. Everything the 4 of us ordered was delicious! Quick service and efficient too. They asked for a coffee refill like 15 times. The menu was huge and had a Greek spin to it. We got the American skillet which was delicious and came with a side of pancakes (but I upgraded to the French toast). We also got the corned beef Hash skillet, and an omelet. The pumpkin pancakes were tasty too. The atmosphere was just like a family owned diner and I could tell the owners right away as they talked to almost every customer, joking with things, saying hi to people they knew and asking how everything was. It was also reasonably priced for the amount of food you got. We will be going back too.

I believe our servers name was Sydney. She was fantastic and helped my mom and I have a great time. We were able to spend some time together chatting and Sydney gave me plenty of refills on my coffee and did not rush us at all. Thank you so much!

We chose this local mom & pop restaurant for it’s hometown feel, and had a wonderful brunch here. I ordered the Special #6, and my husband ordered the strawberry crepes. The Special was perfect for me. The crepes came with cinnamon dusted on them, which was a new flavor combo with the strawberries. Had we have known, we may have asked to withhold the cinnamon. Loved the Mason jar syrup pitcher! All in all a great experience.

Food was good. I had ordered a waffle and a side of hash browns. The hash browns never showed up. I reminded the waitress, she assured they were coming. Then the check came. I was charged for them but still never received. They did end up taking them off the bill. Service was not great at all. I am local and love to support local restaurants. But, will probably never be back.

I have been to a many breakfast places in Bloomington, and this place is by far the best. The food and service has always been excellent in all my visits. Also the food comes out very quickly and is always cooked to your specifications. The only complaint is the dated decor and ambience as it’s like they are going for 5 different aesthetics at one time and nothing works. But who cares what it looks like if the food is too notch and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place.

My food was delicious, especially the cherry topping for my pancakes. I had salted carmell syrup. I had a omelet with mushrooms, peppers, bacon and sausage with American cheese. The service was good and the food came out quickly.

Best breakfast in Bloomington! I ordered the club #4. Which comes with 2 slices of French Toast, 2 eggs and ham and I also ordered a side of bacon. Orange juice and water to drink. The total was $10 and some change before tip. First, the French Toast was amazing. You can actually taste the vanilla which is something a lot of places get wrong. The ham is the real deal. Not a round slab like most places and you can see from the picture that the ham and eggs are cooked perfectly. Just like they came out of grandma’s cast iron skillet. This is the best looking place from the outside and the entire is definitely a little dated but the food more than makes up for that. Highly recommend you give them a visit.
