Cozy 1 Cafe and gelato

We just got back from Monaco. Had a wonderful trip. They’re great food. We’re eating breakfast at Cozy one on the sidewalk breathing fresh ocean air nice view and just is wonderful food with prosciutto omelette and a Laguna Beach omelette and apple juices and cereal fantastic breakfast. You’ll be surprised if you come.

Absolutely love this place, so easily five stars. It’s right off PCH and while there’s no dedicated parking, you can usually pull up and park along the street on that side. The space is on the smaller side, but the food quality and menu feel like a full-service kitchen.
They offer a really nice mix of American café comfort food with Italian and a touch of Middle Eastern flavor. The gelato is the best in the area, especially the rotating unique flavors .The owners are very kind, and the atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and beautifully coastal. One of my favorite spots to stop for lunch, coffee, or dessert.

Enjoyed dinner and dessert here and loved it. All the pastas were a hit and we all loved that the noodles and breads were made from scratch. It was very cozy with the fire next to sitting area and being able to look out on the street and look around. The service was very nice as well. Everyone was very attentive and very friendly. Definitely recommend and will be coming back. Don’t miss out on the gelato after your meal!

I was immediately welcomed when approaching the store front by, Michael, one of the owners. Had a nice glass of white wine paired with the saffron chicken Alfredo. It was marvelous! Chicken cooked to perfection. I highly recommend. The bread was fresh and delicious! Can’t wait to come back to try the other wonderful hand made pastas.

Walked by the past few mornings and finally got up early enough to stop for coffee. Cute patio, great energy, super nice people!! My latte is fantastic and after Lucio and I chatted about their lunch/dinner cozy spot directly across, he brought me out the various menus. Couldn’t say no to avocado toast and poached egg. The vibes walking past this place at night have me wanting to stroll back by for appetizers and a cocktail.

We came across this coffee shop while walking around Laguna Beach, and it was the perfect spot for us! Not only was the coffee great and the ice cream delicious (with some more uncommon flavor options in addition to the classics, but we were also greeted with a warm welcome and enjoyed nice conversation with the owner. If we lived more locally I would definitely be a regular here 🙂

AMAZING ice cream!! We need more stars! Freshly made on site. One was so fresh we weren’t allowed to eat it yet. Our plan was for the 5 of us to get 2 flavors each, with no duplicates. Oh, yes, and my hubby got 3.
Mine were laguna saffron pistachio (heavenly!!) and lime. The raspberry cheesecake and pineapple were my other 2 favorites.
Very friendly service from the people. And cuddly bear hanging out.
