It was a cold and rainy day during the offseason and we were starving. No restaurants were open. A local suggested we try this new place… Cozumel. We were glad we did!
We were warmly greeted by a friendly hostess. And our server, Lucas, was quick, efficient, respectful, and funny. Our drinks never ran out and the food… mmmmm Everything you would want to eat with pleanty of delicious seafood options available too. The spices were just right! And if you wanted more heat I’m sure you could get the perfect level for you with a simple request. The portions were plentiful. We happened to meet the owner and his lovely family while we were there. Will definitely be coming back!

A great welcome to the island. I was a bit hesitant on Mexican on a coastal barrier island but it hit the mark. It is off season but was so happy that Cozumel was open for dinner. We went 2/3 nights to eat here if it says anything. The decor is stylish with Hispanic vibes, the staff is kind and helpful and the flavor is on point. I know this place will do well and will definitely return later this year when back on the island.

Had dinner here for the first time. Guacamole was so fresh and delicious. Split some steak nachos with my sister and it was very generous portion and amazing taste. Have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. Great service, friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend.

If I could give them more stars I would! Absolutely the best and most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had! Our server Angela was amazing. We were a party of 12. Micheladas were yummy, Even the Mexican people in our group were impressed. 10/10 highly recommend!

We ordered the house made guacamole alongside the salsa and both were delicious and generous portions.
We also ordered quesadillas with ground beef and carne asada tacos. Both were great and we would order again.
We can’t say enough about this new edition to the island. They treat you like family while you are dining and we cannot say enough good things! We will be back!

Bald Head Island welcomes a much needed new restaurant! We have dined at Cozymel weekly since they opened, and the food is amazing, made with fresh ingredients, and is consistent each time. The staff consists of familiar and friendly faces who go out of their way to insure that you have a good experience. The menu is extensive offering something for everyone, but our favorites are the ACP, Enchiladas Suizas, and fish and steak tacos! Everything is reasonably priced, and you get a ton of food for the money. Please support this restaurant…you will not be disappointed!

We have been coming to bald head for years and this is some of the most fun we’ve had dining here so far. The food is authentic and homemade, down to the handmade tortillas. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast! The restaurant was clean and lively. Everything was phenomenal and we’ve already been back twice!

Absolutely incredible experience. The food was some of the best Mexican cuisine we’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Some of the coldest draft beer I’ve ever had. What truly set this place apart though, was the hospitality. After a long travel day they graciously stayed open just for us when we were exhausted and starving. That level of kindness and service is rare and unforgettable. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

Wonderful birthday dinner here while on the island. Staff is fantastic. Food is delicious. Decor is beautiful. Specialty wood brought in from Mexico for the bar and tables is absolutely beautiful! Owner is approachable and very kind. He has his eye on the details and outstanding customer service. If you are on Bald Head Island this is a must!!

Best food on the island, great service, really cool decor, and the music was great too. We came back 2 days in a row, it was so good. You must get the guac and queso. LA burrito was amazing. Carne asada fajitas were so delicious, the meat was incredible flavor. My dad had the seafood enchiladas and said they were great. Sizeable portions, we took to go boxes for leftovers both times. Pace yourself on the margaritas!
