I thought this place would be smaller but it’s actually pretty comfortable on the inside. The bar runs the length of the dining area with plenty of space between it and the tables. Since it was my first time here I let them order for me and I got the street tacos and it was delicious. The service was great and they were really kind to me. I am excited to go back and have more. They even brought me my own big bowl of chips. Which was nice as I was by myself and starving. I couldn’t have had a better first experience at a place. Nice to have a Mexican restaurant downtown and within walking distance in all of Charleston. The atmosphere is dark and the decor is really aesthetically pleasing. It really works for setting the mood. Good place to watch the games I imagine though none were on while I was in. I will be back with guest.

Came to Charleston on an apparently busy night. All the other restaurants were an hour wait, but they got us in immediately! The service was great, and the food was even better. The margaritas were especially delicious! Highly recommend!

This little place is the hidden treasure in downtown Charleston. It has an original spin to our traditional Mexican restaurants around the valley. Their unique flavors and cute half-barrel barstools make it irristable. From the dry humor & perfect timing of our server to the lightening speed at which a margarita was united with my lips, and the ‘no hesitation’ reaction when i asked to order off menu, the service was top notch.
My visits to this restaurant have only improved each time. However, I do have 1 complaint: As a petite person, the very low oversized chairs make me feel like a 4th grader at the kid’s table on Christmas. I need a booster seat! Oh well, usually I like looking younger!
I highly recommend the Mexican Pizza (usually a special, not on the regular menu). The shredded beef and cheese w cilantro and guacamole and sour cream swirled on top is fabulous!

cozumel ripley wv its ok but bam margera so cool! bam margera wear rad shirt n jeans n bam margera pick table by window. then SPIDERMAN swinged in! he shoot web stuff n bam margera yell yo spiderman! bam margera order chips n queso n bam margera eat it fast like spiderman swing. BATMAN show up dark n scary cape n bam margera say dude batman sick! (batman get spicy taco cuz bam loves hot food.)then SHADOW HEDGEHOG zoom in super fast n bam margera go shadow rules! bam margera get ice cream dessert n bam margera laugh loud. food ok but spiderman batman shadow n bam margera make it epic!

Really good margaritas(skinnies) and out-of-this world birria tacos with shredded beef and melted cheese + the best dipping sauce ever! The check was $100 for two but that’s because we had three margs. The food is very reasonably priced.

Had a Quesa Chile dinner. It was delicious. It came with a small salad. It had a wonderful cheese sauce was covered the flour tortilla shell. It was served hot. Great service. At first I wasn’t sure it was open. It seemed dark from the outside. But saw the open sign and went inside. Great Gem!

Quesadilla de Berria was delicious! DIL enjoyed the tacos. We shared a churro, which was yummy- creme-filled, drizzled with a raspberry sauce, I believe. Order it!! Great, friendly service.
