We went around lunch time so it wasn’t busy. But, you know when you go into a place that’s not busy and you Never see your server (not like when it’s packed), that wasn’t our experience at all! I can’t remember the name of our server, but he was attentive and amazing! I got the mango fish tacos and my husband got the enchiladas. Everything was super flavorful and delicious! The portions were just right so I was full but not to bursting. We got the sopapillas for dessert. They were fluffy and delicious! We have to try the filled ones next time we go.

If i could give this place a million stars i would. I come from an area of the country where we are known for the BEST Cajun, Mexican, Soul food, and seafood in the country. I was spoiled me whole life not even knowing the rest of the country wasnt like this. That type of food growing up was amazing and so flavorful. Sense moving to Colorado, im usually disappointed nearly everytime i go out to eat. Food is always expensive, the taste and flavor is usually severely lacking, unseasoned, and it never comes out looking like it does in photos or how it appears on the menu. BUT THAT BEING SAID.
I had a craving for fried fish, maybe some Fish and Chips. I googled all over the entire north Colorado area, trying to make the best decision on where to go. I sat in my car for like 30 mins just researching. Pretty much everyones “Fish and Chips” were wayyyy over priced, didnt look very good, seemed severely lacking in portion size, and almost all the restaurants seemed to treat it like a menu item they just keep on the back burner.
So i tried this place Coyotes. AND LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING RIGHT NOW. Not only was the place clean, smelled amazing, well decorated and lighted, with a good bar and great bartender. But once i took the first bite of the “Southwestern Fish and Chips”, my mind was blown. It was like an episode of “Thats So Raven” where my mind went inside itself, searching for a memory of anytime ive ever ate any kind of fish that was that good. I cant think of a single time ive ever eaten fish at a restaurant that could ever compare to this. Not only that, but i cant think of a single time ive ever ate food at a restaurant that was this good either . Im a foodie and a traveler. Ive been to multiple countries, all the states in the 48, and nearly every major city. Ive had my share of good and bad food. Im telling you this meal was so good, I cant wait to go back. This will be my new thing. I went there at almost 3pm on a Wednesday. And these people fed me literal GOLD on a plate. Im in Dallas now for work, but when i get back next friday. I AM GOING STRAIGHT BACK TO COYOTES. I havent been able to get this out of my mind sense. Ive lived in this area of Colorado for 2 years now. I cant believe i just now discovered this place. I wish i knew about it before. Im so lucky i found yall on such a whem.

The fish PERFECTLY fried, it was seasoned, FLAVORFUL, perfectly crispy AND JUICY. Which is important because a lot of places over fry their food and it becomes dry or has an oily after taste. BUT THIS PLACE MADE IT PERFECT.

But not only that! They appeared to have some house made fries to go with it! Perfectly seasoned as well, perfectly fried. Every bite had the perfect amount of crisp to soft inside ratio. Flavor was just as good as the fish.

It comes with a type or spicy or seasoned mayo i think? Im not sure what it was. But this sauce ment to dip in was the third thing on the plate that just blew my mind. God it was so good. And its not spicy in a way that you wouldnt be able to handle it if your sensitive to spicy. It was basically just enough spice to add the great flavor without burning your tounge at all.

SALSA! The salsa was one of the best ive had in this state. Ive tried a lot of places. It was pretty dang good. The chips tasted fresh too! Idk if they make them in house or if they just have really good equipment for heating and keeping them fresh? Idk

Bloody Mary was as good as most bloody marys! Not one of the bloody marys that you would drive across town for but it was really good and simple. All drinks were priced great. I got in durring happy hour so i got a extra lil discount on the already well priced drinks.
Oh speaking of price, this meal costed way less than about 70 to 80% of the restaurants in the area selling Fish and Chips.
Man i loved this place so much it just makes me wanna get back with my ex or something. I have a great job, but id throw it away to work here just to eat here everyday and see how its made. I seriously think they much have a Michelin Star Chef working working in the back.

My husband and I came here on a whim. We had plans to go elsewhere but they were closed. We live in Longmont but were in Greeley late after our son’s soccer game and just wanted to eat and get back home. I found this place on Google and we just agreed it looked decent. I am so glad we did! The service was great, the entire restaurant is comfortable, clean, and all around nice. Our waiter was polite and helped my husband decide on one of his 3 options. I got the fish and chips, my husband got the Baja fish tacos. I think we’ll have to make this a monthly visit. Definitely recommend this place!

We go in at least 3x a week for breakfast burritos. My son prefers no potato, so I call ahead and Michelle always greets me with a friendly voice on the phone. When we arrive our burritos are nice and warm and again Michelle just makes our day with her infectious smile and great attitude. She goes out of her way to talk to us. It’s refreshing since you don’t get that kind of customer service much anymore. Thank you, Michelle!!!!

Keith S. our server was great. We had a custom drink order and an order with dietary restrictions. Keith, the bar, and the chef were all so accommodating. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. It was our first time there and we will definitely return.

This was our first time here, and we were recommended this restaurant by friends. It’s a cute place with decent Southwest food. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. The chips and salsa were delicious, and we ordered the avocado egg rolls and southwestern eggrolls, both were OK. I had the el president fajitas and instead of tortillas, I got Lettuce leaves, which was very nice of them to do. The steak, chicken, and shrimp were seasoned well and it was a very generous portion with all the fixings that come with it. BF got the poblano rellenos and he was not impressed. He ate half. He did like the rice and beans. It was decent food for reasonable prices. Because we were only visiting, I don’t think we’ll be back, but I would recommend it if you’re looking for some Mexican food. I heard the breakfast burritos are very good.
