I enjoy the food and like to pop in from time to time for a good meal, but my server was absolutely terrible. Once she dropped off the food she never once came by to check on me. The other server, who was doing a good job waiting her own tables pretty much refilled my drinks and cleared the table instead of my own waitress. When confronted about the bad service all I got were weak excuses. I gave my tip to the waitress that actually waited on me. Thats the second bad experience I have had with this particular waitress and both times she was rather unapologetic.

I’ve been going here since I was a kid and o can definitely say they have the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The Fajitas are amazing as well as their queso cheese. Everything is priced extremely well. Everyone is always very nice!

Food was ice cold but plate hot, rice that came with my entree was crunchy, cold, dry like it was sitting out all day. Waitress took my food back and came back with same plate and food had zero flavor, still slightly cold. Most Tables were dirty, not busy. Waitress was nice but wasnt around much after ordered.

The food was okay, but the server was not good. There was definitely a language barrier and after we left, we left a personal belonging there. We called up there not even an hour later after we realized we had left it, and instead of setting it up front, she threw it away. I won’t be going back. I would rather drive to Festus and eat at La Pachanga where the food is better and the staff is more considerate of someone’s personal belongings.

Made a trip out to visit on Cinco de Mayo for dinner and drinks. Small but quaint place with indoor and outdoor seating. Sat at the bar so we could be seated quickly. Service was good and food came out fast, though I had expected a wait because it was packed. Atmosphere was laid back with a small town feel though it was odd to hear two separate 80’s music stations playing at the same time. One indoor, one outdoor, loud enough to sing along with either. Chips and salsa were fair but bland. The Jalisco Special with steak was served with a side of Mexican rice, fresh shredded iceberg lettuce, chopped tomatoes and onion, with a generous dollop each of guacamole and sour cream. Presentation was pleasing but overall, the dinner lacked in flavor and spice. Everything was properly cooked served hot and fresh with very good and attentive service but I can’t say though that I would visit again unless I was just happening by on my way to somewhere else.

My girlfriend and I went to Coyol after her having told me she had been before and not enjoyed it. She couldn’t have been more right. We sat down and ordered drinks. She ordered a Margarita, calling it lack-luster would be a compliment. It was one of the worst Margaritas I have ever had. Flavorless and bland was the name of the game. It tasted watered-down. The chips and salsa tasted stale. The waitress asked us if we were ready to order. We advised that we need a few more minutes to look at the menu. We sat for at least 10 minutes before getting up to leave. My girlfriend took maybe 3 sips of the abysmal Margarita. We left more than enough money to cover the mostly full drink. Having not seen the waitress in at least ten minutes. She managed to chase us down in the parking lot about the bill. When we responded that we did not order anything and left the money on the table she looked confused and unaware. She turned through her notebook realized that she never took an order from us and walked back inside. My girlfriend and myself were left flabbergasted at the experience. Would highly recommend going anywhere else.

Such a GREAT place to eat! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. It feels like a small family. The food selection is deliciousssss and they have a bunch of margaritas and drinks. Overall it’s AMAZINGGGG! Will go again very very soon!

Ordered pickup, got home chip bags were quarter way full, no cheese sauce I ordered, no shrimp fajitas. I call 4 times before someone answered, she tell me to come back & get the other items. Got back home no cheese sauce again.

Second time dining since moving to the area a year ago, two stars because it was clean… “ribeye” pictured below, kids menu states chicken strips we received chicken nuggets.. yes there is a difference. Low quality food for what you would pay at a decent Mexican restaurant (this isn’t one) any stars above 1 or 2 has to be paid for or friends with the owners… We won’t be back.
