I think the skeleton is cute, but the coffee is basic and the service is beyond rude. I stopped by there because my regular place was closed and thought I’d give them a shot. Won’t be doing that again. A lady with short dark hair at the window “greeted” me with “what do you want?” within 2 seconds of pulling up, I said “im not sure” and she was visibly annoyed by this and walked away. Paced a bit and came back and I asked if she could make a certain flavor they had advertised into a blended drink and she said “yes” and left to do so. Came back and took my card, gave it back (no receipt), and then might as well have tossed the drink at me before shutting the window. I don’t know that I’ve ever had service so devoid of any joy at a coffee stand. I feel like she would be better suited working at Dick’s Last Resort and not a place people go to get a serotonin boost.

I was in the food service industry for 7 years, I now sell cars. I don’t ever leave reviews but we are from out of town and came here for a wedding. My friend and I got up this morning wanted to try a local coffee shop and decided on the place with the skeleton… needless to say it was the wrong choice… the lady who made our drinks with blonde hair didn’t say hi, was short not welcoming at all. I ordered a social called the “bearclaw”, once I received the drink I tried it and it didn’t have a lot of flavor. I politely asked if she would just go ahead and add chocolate, to which she got visibly frustrated and told me that she had a car at her window and one behind mine. She said this because she didn’t want to reblend the drink…. “I could add some on the top”, to which I said “can you please reviews it? I’m not even in a hurry so take your time”. She then stated looking very annoyed: “ then I’ll have to get to this guy first”, pointing to other window. I’m totally fine with that, I understand I changed my order, but don’t make me feel dumb for it and literally throw your hands up and then roll your eyes. Asking simple questions about what drinks she recommended because we aren’t from here we’re met with: “I don’t know, but everyone orders the bear claw a lot”. Somewhat hard to explain over a written review but the energy the vibe her body language and how short she was wih me made the entire experience miserable. Do not go to this place and that lady should not be allowed to make orioles coffee smh I wish I was exaggerating.

They gave me expired coconut milk which tasted like 2 months old. Came back to replace it with anything that was not expired and got charged for a replacement coffee. Called to complain but their number that is on Google is not in use

Good coffee, decent prices. Its a good place to go. Owner is usually working it. I would like a bit friendlier service but I understand they are busy. Not saying they are unfriendly just a bit short at times. They have really good cotton candy protien shakes.

I stopped in because my regular coffee place was closed. This is the 2nd time I’ve been there. The coffee is a dollar more then my regular shop and it’s disgusting so that was a total waste of 7.25. Figured the 1st was a fluke but definitely not. Gas station coffee is 100% better and cheaper. Lesson learned at my expense

Barista was super nice and friendly! It was busy and she let us know she would be a few moments and kept checking in with us. Kept her cool with a “situation” with a customer and was very apologetic. Plentiful options of flavorings and nondairy additions. Would go again!

Coming to Cowlitz Coffee is a special occasion for us. It’s always a treat to get to go and there’s so many options to choose from. The service is very friendly. Cowlitz Coffee is my happy place and I am very happy that we have an espresso place in Castle Rock!

1/28/18 I had to use my card to pay and girl said she couldn’t give me a receipt as the card machine was closed? She hadn’t rung anything else yet. Also I get the same order every time but will pay from 2.75 to 3.00 as with this girl on Sunday. Also once had to pay 4.00 for a Lotti (sp) I DIDN’T order. But the coffee is good, sad I’ll have to go some place else.
