We’ve never been to this quaint and very welcoming restaurant. My goodness, but this is a true diamond in the rough. How does 5-star food, service and atmosphere sound in a small, tucked away town in the mountains of Wyoming? We’ve been sharing wedge salads for decades (see pic) but never imagined a dish so satisfying and so flavorful. And that was just the beginning. Our entire meal and experience was top-of-the-line and so memorable. Oh yeah, we’ll be back!

We were told by a lot of locals that this place was expensive and fancy. So we thought that the portions would be small and that it’d cost $300 for dinner. Not true. Nice sized portions. Not incredibly expensive. Also not fancy to the point you should dress all the way up. Which was nice too. Service was fast and good. The rainbow trout was incredible and so was the ribeye with the fancy tatters lol.

Came here at about 6pm. Had a wait estimated at 25-35 minutes. No biggy. We took a seat. The couple behind us was seated immediately. The couple after them were sat immediately. No reservations or anything. That was rather confusing.

Wonderful atmosphere, amazing service and the food was to die for! The Red Miso Sea Bass melts in your mouth it was absolutely incredible!

We experienced four great meals (best sea bass I’ve ever had — and here in Wyoming!) The service was super friendly and astoundingly fast and flawless. The beer brewed on site was wonderful. I unconditionally recommend eating here.

My wife and I had an unexpected awesome experience at Cowfish. We have been traveling/exploring for 40 plus days. We agree, this meal at Cowfish was the best of our trip. A small framed certificate at the host desk humbly announces the chef at Cowfish was a James Beard award semi finalists for the Mountain region. Impressive! The food we were served reflected this achievement. I had the spicy coffee rub ribeye and my wife had the cow tenderloin tips pasta. Both exceeded our expectations. Our server Becca was spot on with knowledge of the dishes, recommendations and attentiveness.

This may be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! The food was great, the service was awesome, and our experience was fantastic. My wife is celiac, and they were able to accommodate. It was a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it for a once-in-a-while outing.

Food & service were great! I got the Ahi tuna app & the brussel sprouts which were delicious But the only complaint is I took 2 of my fish tacos home (they were bland) & had them for lunch the next day and there was a red & white striped twist tie in my taco that blended in with the purple cabbage Needless to say I couldn’t eat them after that
