I took my family here over this past Labor Day weekend. It was our first time here.
We were seated quickly and the waitress wasn’t far behind
Over all the service was good. There were a few times that we were left unattended, but I think it had more to do with understaffing. Our waitress was very sweet very kind and I have no problems with her.
The food was cooked order in served nice and hot.. and good!
It was a very comfortable meal! We were able to sit and talk for quiet awhile as it wasn’t very busy for a Saturday morning.
Overall the only complaint I had was the price (showing my age) for a party of 5 the bill came to over $75 for a modest breakfast

Food was cooked to perfection. Big pancakes, fully stuffed omelettes, perfect combo of crunch to soft ratio on the country potatoes. Place was clean, staff was friendly and food came out fast. Definitely will be coming again!

I met a friend at the restaurant for lunch. We’ve never been there before, and we’re always looking to try new restaurants. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. I had the Reuben sandwich and my friend had the chicken tenders. My reuben sandwich was delicious. We ordered dessert. I had the bread pudding and it was out of this world. It came with strawberries and whipped cream and a sauce that was very yummy. I would recommend stopping by and trying their food.

Solid choice, food was good, especially the chicken fried steak. The reason from the two star atmosphere is it when you drive up at least it looks like the place is closed due to the tinted windows. As I was almost finished, an elderly man walked in and obnoxiously said “ Is this place even open!” I thought you were rude, but people are allowed to express themselves however they want

I was really surprised about this place. It’s kinda small but the food was great. Had a burger which was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Someone had the monte Cristo which had great flavor as well. Will return to try something different. Maybe try their breakfast the next time

Loaded fries ~ so yummy yummy!! Real bacon, green onions, jalapeños, cheese.
Bacon crusted chicken salad with honey mustard ~ nice.
Taco Salad ~ DELICIOUS. Meat had a different yummy delicious flavor.
Saw someone getting a Montie Cristo Sandwich ~ OH ~coming back tomorrow.
Cowboy Montie Cristo ~ HUGE and Ph so good.
Hush puppies have corn in them.

We live in Highland Village and wanted a “hearty breakfast”, not some “portion controlled, instagram trendy” place. Let me tell you, Cowboys is IT. It’s the Old West of breakfast places. Small town feels. Excellent food, huge servings, HOT & fresh. 10/10 what we wanted and we can’t wait to go back. Everything was awesome! My husband got the Cowboys special, which was biscuits and sausage gravy, topped with chicken fried steak, and two fried eggs. He couldn’t even finish it all. I got the breakfast burrito with potatoes! We both took home leftovers.
Also, I should mention our entire bill was $31 for two people. It cost us $25 just for two people at Chick-fil-A and we don’t leave with leftovers lol.

Polite Chaos
This is the cutest little diner. Open seating and simplistic decor with soft fun colors make this a warm dining experience. The service was fast and accurate and the coffee was hot. The prices are very affordable and the parking was great. It wasn’t terribly busy or too loud. Really great experience.
Also a major plus is they have the QR code available on the receipt so I can pay at the table- no waiting!

After eating at Cowboys again this morning, I am happily motivated to update my previous post. The service team provided very good service!
I have found the food consistently very good. However, the service has been just as consistently bad.
I have waited at least 3 minutes to receive a menu and order drinks. I have watched a waitress fill coffee cups at the next table, then walk right by my almost empty cup. One time recently, another customer pointed out to a waiter that I was holding my cup up for a refill after seeing him pass me by.
