The owners are great. Two nice and friendly people offering a good little place to eat. The pork ribs and carn bread were the best. I liked the pork belly but a bit to salty for my wife. The pulled brisket was a bit dry but I am not a fan of BBQ sauce so adding it might help. The pork belly and brisket together is a great combo. The pulled pork was good. I have had much juicer smoked meat at other places, but if you are in the area it is worth a visit.

On our way to Glacier NP, stopped in for lunch. We sat inside and ate. Very nice place, loved the decor too. I ordered the ‘Yeeedogeee’ ribs & wife selected the brisket. These are the best ribs I ever had! A week later on our way back to the airport we made it a point and stopped in again. More ‘Yeedogeee’ ribs and Peach cobbler too.
The food here is the best, and Rudy’s wife provided friendly, top shelf service and conversation. Wish we had this level food in Surprise, AZ. Cowboy-up is the best!

The best BBQ I have ever had – absolutely packed with flavor in every bite! The food is cooked to perfection, juicy, smoky, and full of that authentic BBQ taste that’s hard to find. On top of the amazing food, the service was outstanding – friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
This is clearly a family-run business, and you can really feel the love and care they put into everything they do. It’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to, not only because of the incredible food but also because you’re supporting a hardworking local family.
If you love BBQ, this is a must-visit spot. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to all our friends and family!

Hands down best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Born and raised in Texas, I’ve eaten my share of BBQ — homemade by my family, friends, and other small restaurants — and this was better than it all. I don’t even know what all we ordered, something like half the menu, but every bite was to die for. From the sweat tea, to ribs, pulled brisket, REAL mashed potatoes, and cornbread (which I’m usually hit or miss on) it was tender and delicious. The owners, Rudy and Gina, were so kind and welcoming. We planned to share platters family style and they automatically brought us extra plates and cornbread. Made authentic conversation with us and the other customers. The minute you sit down you feel part of a family outside your own group, chatting with other customers as well as Rudy and Gina we couldn’t help but laugh and enjoy a pleasant night, eating beside gorgeous views. 10/10 recommend, just get there early bc (like all good BBQ, it sells out fast).

The service and food were exceptional! Gina was so welcoming and kind, which made the experience even better. We ordered the all-meat platter that comes with cornbread, along with cowboy beans and macaroni salad—everything was absolutely perfect. The lemonade and sweetened ice tea were great. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating with a beautiful view. Definitely worth the stop!

GREAT food, friendly, welcoming service, and with amazing views. We were visiting from Illinois and found nearby thanks to a Google search. Gina was so kind and kept making sure we had everything we could possibly need. Every bite of food was fabulous. We had the brisket (so juicy, tender, and lean– so carefully trimmed), elk meatloaf (delicious flavor and texture), with the amazing beans, corn bread, and REAL mashed potatoes. Giant servings that will feed us for 2 days, and the meals started with very fresh salads.
Everything was homemade and served with love, reminding me of the dishes my parents cooked. Save room for the bread pudding! I don’t normally like bread pudding, but this was FANTASTIC, so fluffy and light like a cake.

If you want to experience Montana come here. It’s nice to know that “Mom and Pop” has a stronghold in this lovely eatery. The place gives a cozy home feel and the ambiance is top notch. I enjoyed meeting both owners. The husband ,if he graces you with his presence is one hell of a cook and an intellect and love his sense of humor. The wife, might be one of the kindest souls giving a motherly feel we all need. (Oh yeah both are phenomenal cooks). I would recommend this not only to my family but my ancestors!

This cozy little restaurant is a hidden gem for authentic, homemade-style BBQ—we loved it so much, we went back two days in a row. The flavors are delicate, a refreshing change from the overly bold tastes common in many places today. Gina and Rudy are incredibly warm and welcoming, and their service is top-notch. Sending our best wishes from Wisconsin!

The hospitality alone warrants 10 stars. The BBQ is amazing, best pork belly you’ll ever get. Beef ribs were so soft. Everything on the meat platter was very good. I can’t imagine a trip to Montana without visiting Cowboy Up. I could go on and on about this place. If someone leaves anything less than 5 stars, they are the problem and I bet they have posted many negative reviews. I may leave 1 or 2 reviews a year. A place must really warrant it. Thank you Cowboy Up Family, thank you .

Great place to eat. Ribs were excellent and so was the brisket! Portions were large; I never have leftovers and I had leftovers!
