I loved the energy of the place, line dancing with friends is pretty fun. However, the staff is pretty rude. They seem to kick out a lot of people that go to the place for the simplest reasons. They threatened to kick out our friends for talking about the ID and then at the entrance we found other people that had been kicked out for no good reason.

We went there to celebrate my friends 21st birthday. We were a larger group but were good people. Our server was amazing and so kind how ever one of the owners were terrible. A guy seems to be harassing a girl. This caught the attention of our male friends when he tried saying something the harasser got angry and told our friend that he would shoot him in the heart with a crossbow when he walked out the building. Aside from telling the owner what was going on, she defended the harasser claiming he was a regular. Due to us feeling unsafe from this we decided to leave. I will never come back here if these owners cant figure there choices out then they are going to start loosing business I recommend not coming here and giving this place your money.

Fried mushrooms were great! I had Walleye (very good & tender) with baked beans and coleslaw and it came with cornbread. All of our portions were large. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Too bad the live band wasn’t there when we were

I was told to stay away from Zack, one of the dancing guys, because he talks bad about everyone behind their back. Sad, because the place looks cool…but, every place has their clicks.

Cowboy Up has become my weekend ritual and for good reason. The food is always amazing, the people are welcoming, and the whole vibe is just right whether you’re rolling in solo or with a group. The line dancing lessons are a total blast. Big shoutout to Sarah, Penny, and Gloria for being incredible instructors who make it fun for everyone, whether you’ve got two left feet or you’re ready for the dance floor spotlight.
Drinks? They’ve got a great variety just don’t come in expecting a world-class margarita (yet). That’s my one wish for the future: bring on the flavored margaritas and step up that game a bit! Until then, there’s plenty of other great options to sip on.
Even though it’s a bar, drinking isn’t the main event here. The atmosphere, the dancing, and the crowd of regulars (who start to feel like family) are more than enough to keep you entertained. And huge props to Taylor—the best waiter around—for always being on point.
Cowboy Up keeps me coming back weekend after weekend, and I’m always looking forward to the next visit.

I first heard murmurs about Cowboy Up in an amateur adult tap class that I took for the bit. The tap community was adamant that Cowboy Up was THE place to be on Friday and Saturday nights. After a few months wasted in pre-contemplation, I finally gathered the courage to get out there and see what was really what. Let me tell you what: it rocked my world!! Each dance was a delight, and I was so tickled to spend the night in sparkly cowgirl bliss. The environment was the perfect setting for low-stakes drama, flirtation, and gossip among friends, lovers, and strangers. Thanks for re-invigorating my relationship to dance and to good old fashioned fun. I will be back.

My go to bar. Mama D is amazing and the staff are great. We always have a blast when we come here and it’s worth the drive for the dancing , lessons and atmosphere alone. Drinks are always made right and worth the wait on busier nights. Holiday parties are the best as well. I always feel like home here 🙂
