Cowboy David’s Bakery is nothing short of perfection. Each cake we ordered , there were 3, for our wedding dinner and garden party reception were exactly what we hoped for. We needed GF and DF for our wedding cake to accommodate diverse dietary needs among our treasured guests. The cake we got was perfect and allowed all of our guests to be able to enjoy desert together. The cake design was our vision come to life from just a few flower pictures and a conversation Joe. Hands down, this bakery is it, professional, accommodating, delicious and goes the extra mile. With confidence, we highly recommend and continue to order for special occasions every chance we get. Thank you Cowboy David’s Bakery, for helping to make our special day the very best.

We loved working with Cowboy David’s Bakery for our wedding! Joe is an absolute delight to work with-he took our vision and executed it perfectly. He drove a long way to deliver and set up our cake and event cups. Everything was delicious, and our guests raved about how delicious our desserts were. Joe’s attention to detail and timeliness are both truly unmatched. Thank you for making our day so special!!

From our first interaction to the last Joe has been an absolute treasure. We are so very grateful he did our wedding desserts!
The gluten free choices were delicious and we were so glad we could accommodate our guests with food allergies ❤️
Joe is so much fun to work with, he did an absolutely fantastic job with the display and we hope to get cake again soon!

Just picked up my husband’s birthday cookies. The 13 cookies came in a bag and were each individually wrap and sealed. It didn’t take long for us to get one and it did not disappoint. I’m sure these baker dozen won’t last long in our home. We ordered the dark chocolate pistachio cookies. Can’t wait to try other types.

Called to inquire about cake tastings for our upcoming wedding and upon hearing their $75 castle tasting fee we were unable to afford that up front on our tight budget, we decide to go a different direction. Upon hearing this, the owner accused us of wanting free cake and sent a pointed, unprofessional email:
“The fee is credited, most times in full, when you decide that we are your bakery.
This leads us to believe that you were more interested in free cake and not necessarily serious about a relationship with us. We are a legitimate, licensed inspected and insured, special order bakery. We use clean fresh ingredients and put a huge amount of effort into our relationship with our wedding and event clients. Paying us up front a small fee for our time is not unreasonable. I am sorry that you don’t respect that…”
I think instead of throwing accusations around you may want to consider that some couples cannot afford a $75 cake tasting fee.
EDIT: The saga continues, here is his email response back. Unsure the bit about the fiancé? Anyways, do your research folks.
“We stand by our fees as reasonable for the expense that we put into you and your cake tasting samples/appointment. A FEE YOU WOULD GET BACK if you were serious about a relationship with us. If not, it covers our expenses. Nobody, NOBODY can just do what they do for free. That is why they assess a fee. Sorry that it did not work out for you the way that it could have. We would have taken amazingly great care of you as we do with all our couples. Could all of this actually be a reflection of the fact that your spouse-to-be is pulling the purse strings too tightly and you have to beg for everything you want to invest in? Are you actually mad at him and we were just an easy target when you got a little pushback?
Now, on to the threat of having our relationship tarnished with the venue. We have been with them since they opened their doors and THEY KNOW US TO BE AWESOME. We have a call out to them to discuss this. If your threat comes to fruition we will consider this slanderous and malicious and you could see yourself in court. I SAY TO YOU: YOU do better and don’t threaten someone’s livelihood and reputation. Sometimes it is ok to just want away…”

I want to express my immense gratitude to the staff at Cowboy David’s Bakery for 100% nailing our wedding cake vision. After our fun, tasty, and in-depth consultation at the bakery, we were so excited to see how the cake artists would pull off our dream wedding cake. When I saw our wedding cake being assembled at our venue, I cried tears of joy because our cake was beautiful and exceeded all of our expectations. The words used by those who witnessed and tasted our wedding cake were, “WOW! Phenomenal! A work of art! Beautiful! Incredible attention to detail! DELICIOUS! AMAZING! Where did you get this?!”. I am so grateful to have chosen Cowboy David’s Bakery team to be a part of our wedding day and would recommend to others who are searching for their wedding cake to choose this bakery because their cake flavors, textures, attention to detail, and artistry are unmatched! In case you’re curious, the flavors we ordered were the gluten-free cashew ginger carrot cake, Madagascar vanilla, and Brandy Old Fashioned.

Ordered a cake for my wedding. Everyone loved it! We were very impressed. My now husband and I were a little hesitant in the wedding planning stage because it was difficult to have steady contact with Joe at Cowboy David. He doesn’t reach out to you for updates, payment dues, etc. We had to reach out to him. By phone. Not always responsive to our emails. All in all though, it was worth it!

The best wedding cake you’ll ever have, period. With all the craziness of my wedding day I didn’t get a chance to see my wedding cake until after dinner and when I did I nearly fell over I was so amazed at how good it looked! We went with his cannoli cake and we’re still dreaming about how fantastic it was. Joe is absolutely amazing at what he does and you won’t regret choosing him to do your wedding cake!

I am honestly amazed that people who behave this way are allowed to own a business in our community. Their recent public statement celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk in front of his family was shocking and completely unacceptable. Regardless of anyone’s political beliefs, publicly endorsing violence crosses a line that should never be crossed.
Owning a business comes with responsibilities—not just to customers, but to the community as a whole. Celebrating harm to another human being demonstrates a lack of judgment, empathy, and basic decency. It’s hard to imagine trusting a business that openly condones violence in any form.
This kind of behavior reflects poorly on the community and raises serious questions about the character of the people running this business. I cannot, in good conscience, support or recommend them.

David and his team crafted a beautiful, delicious cake for our wedding. I cannot have dairy, which didn’t faze David for an instant. He provided delightful tasting options and we ended up opting for Madagascar vanilla and lemon poppyseed. I sent him a few inspiration photos and he turned them into the wedding cake of my dreams. Our guests loved the cake and I look forward to ordering more special occasion cakes from David in the future!
