After being well received in Oklahoma City Cowboy Chicken Edmond opened in the Bryant Square shopping center in May of 2018. We pride ourselves on serving delicious all-natural rotisserie chicken in a friendly atmosphere. We love being a part of all the great communities that we operate in, as a member of both the Oklahoma City and Edmond Chambers of Commerce and by supporting our friends over at Camp Fire Heart of Oklahoma to help educate children through outdoor education. Come in and enjoy our signature dishes within an authentic atmosphere centered on the art of cooking over a real wood-burning fire. It’s called honest food, and it’s what keeps friends and family coming back for more So, stop on by and try us at either of our locations.

1st time. In town for a mtng in Guthrie and WAS excited about a healthier fast food to not ONLY snack on but to take back to Tulsa to eat on for a couple of days….today, 9.29.2025, 320p. Wasted $50+ dollars on Fam meal with 3 sides. Chicken (dry, not much flavor), Rice (not bad), Ranchero Beans (Extremely salty), Mexican corn (burnt) and Banana Pudding (evidently old. ONLY 3-4 slices of bananas covered by vanilla wafers were black…moldy). Kids 2pc tender with okra (dry, like it was sitting under light and flavorless). I have pics. Before ever trying, I was excited and WAS going to talk to the Owner about opening up in Tulsa Metro. BUT if this is how new customers are treated and esp those that take out TO-GO, then Id suggest, DONT COME TO TULSA METRO. I WILL dissect dried chicken and moisten to give to my pups Bec I can’t eat it. Corn, beans and okra, I tossed..I’m sooo disappointed.

Edit: Ate here for a short meeting with some friends–the staff are amazing (specifically Thursday night’s). All of them are incredibly kind and servant minded. The food was also as great as I remembered and for a great price. Am really impressed with this establishment–well done Cowboy Chicken!
Amazing food, great mashed potatoes and AMAZING BANANA PUDDING. The family meal for 4 was a great value for all 6 people in my party. Staff were great and kind, large assortment of seating options & bathrooms. This was some amazing chicken. 5/5 stars, highly recommended.

Picked up dinner for the family -16 chicken tenders, twice baked mashed potato’s, Mac and cheese, fried okra, green beans, rolls and peach cobbler. It was all very good! Everyone was happy and we will make this a monthly dinner for sure. Easy, affordable and delicious!

Their mac & cheese and mexican corn is so good! I chose the right sides! It was my first time here today sadly their bread is kind of old and some parts of the chicken too. Bread is kinda airy and dry and so the chicken (please see pictures for reference) not sure if the chicken was overly frozen or just reheated from yesterday’s leftovers and the bread was not freshly baked, I can tell.
Nevertheless the taste of the food is good and I will still come back next time. Hopefully the chicken will be more fresh and juicy by then.

The brisket and chicken is very tasty! Highly recommended. The ambience is small, quiet and well ventilated. It was perfect for a hot Saturday. The service was nice, they had some issues with the cashier machine, but the girl handled well.

This place takes pride in all its dishes, and each part of our family meal (not just the chicken) was outstanding. “Family of 6” fed us with leftovers: chips and salsa, sweet potato (butter and brown sugar on the side), baked macaroni and cheese, French fries, and beans that had a small kick which we loved. Staff was so helpful and gracious, place was clean and smelled of wood fired deliciousness for an inviting atmosphere. It felt like a high quality home cooked comforting meal. Would definitely come here again!

Probably some of the best chicken tenders I have ever eaten! And I have eaten a lot.
The Baked Mac & Cheese was good. The Mexican Street Corn was spicy and delicious. The “baked potaters” (that’s what they are called) were really good as well. The whole experience of the rotisserie pit was really neat. The kids loved it. We did the chicken tenders for 4 family dinner and it was more than enough food. The ranch and BBQ sauces were really good. Try them out! There is also one by the Penn Square Mall as well, owned by the same owner. They are supposed to be opening up a new one in Midwest City. We told them to come to Norman. ☺️

This place was great the staff very polite and helpful. They all greeted us when we walked in and quickly took our order, they even helped with recommendations for meal choices. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. The establishment was also very clean for a fast casual restaurant. Warning though, give your food a minute to cool off it is that fresh.

I COMMEND THIS COWBOY CHICKEN IN EDMOND FOR THEIR CONSISTENT GOOD TASTING FOOD AND SERVICE THE STAFF GENERAL MGR DUSTIN ACKERMAN and his EMPLOYEES AT THE REGISTER JOSE’&ALLISON TO NAME A FEW&the COOKS one them MIRNA IN THE EVENING AND OTHERS I DO NOT KNOW THEIR NAMES HAVE CONSISTENTLY MADE EACH PLATE I HAVE EATEN DELICIOUS!
