Food was average. Over medium eggs, barely cooked. Atmosphere was nice. Service was poor. We waited for our drinks and waited after ordering them. Just seemed disorganized. The kitchen and bathrooms? Grubby. Needs a good cleaning.

This is a great place for some real food. Whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner, it’s all great. I tried the beast burger and it’s fantastic. I also have breakfast there and anything that I got, on multiple occasions, was fantastic. The cooks know what they’re doing, and the ladies working out front are friendly and cheerful.

Service was fast! Had to wait a while to be seated but once you’re at the table the server was very attentive and respectful. Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend for small group, duo or solo dinners.

Went and ate at this restaurant with my cousin. The service was great. Had a nice vibe to the place. Overall a good restaurant. My only complaint was with some of the food. My cousin ordered a breakfast burrito. It was good but I could tell that the tortilla was very low quality, and I am very picky when it comes to my tortilla’s. The green chilli was pretty mid as well. Then the hash browns were very plain tasting with no seasoning. Other than that the omelet I ordered was very good 9/10 it was good sized as well. I have been here before and I just want to also mention that the pies here are very good and come with a wide selection. All in all, it is a good restaurant.

Well worth the stop! Exceptional service, friendly people! I had the Elk Medallions with Chipotle Pesto and mashed potatoes! On point! Very satisfying and flavorful. The main event was the pie, though! They have a dozen or more homemade pie selections. I had the chocolate and pear pie. It had a layer of custard on top and the whole thing paired so well! Absolutely delicious pie!

Insanely delicious! Best Cobb salad I’ve had had and I’ve had Cobb Salad in countless states and places. Excellent service. The homemade pies are worth every bite. I would have had two pieces if they weren’t so generous in portion. I did buy a strawberry rhubarb to take home. Ate a piece of apricot raspberry while there. Would drive 5 hours just to stop here, again. Bravo Team!!!

Absolutely loved this place. I missed our servers name, but she was very polite and attentive. We ordered the Swiss/Mushroom Chicken Fried Steak and the Wyoming Wild Platter. My husband and I have made a game out of who got the better meal, and these dishes were tied. They have a large selection of pies and cheesecakes to choose from (about 10-13ish choices). We ordered a Chocolate Pear pie for dessert and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place and looking forward to the breakfast

Only in Wyoming would prime rib, eggs, and hash count as a sensible breakfast. The Cowboy Café is purpose built for big appetites and bigger journeys. It’s well earned its place on the strip. Fine. Just the way it is.

It is an amazing place situated within an incredibly interesting town. The outside may not look like much, but the food and the staff far exceed those trivial facades. While you’re there, get a slice of one of those phenomenal pies, maybe take home an entire pie. The Pecan Pie may be the best, except for my mother’s, that I’ve ever tasted.
