Cowbell Burger & Whiskey Bar is such a fun spot in Charlotte! The ambiance was lively and welcoming, and they were playing amazing music that really set the vibe.
The food was delicious. We started with the Asian chicken wings with blue cheese sauce — great flavor, though they could’ve been a bit crispier. We also shared a side of onion rings, which were perfectly crispy and super flavorful. I had the ultimate cheeseburger with Parmesan fries, and it absolutely hit the spot. My friend ordered a burger with sweet potato tots, and they were the perfect balance of savory and sweet.
The absolute highlight of our visit was our server, Jesse. She was engaging, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, which made the whole experience even better.
We’ll definitely be back!

We went to go see a play recently and afterwards we stopped in for a quick bite to eat. It is nothing fancy, mostly a bar that serves a little bit of food. Nothing wrong with that! We were not in the mood to drink, but we were hungry, I would say that the service was pretty fast and the servers were very friendly. The burgers had a lot going on and if you like that kind of thing then this is your place. Overall, our food was cooked well and flavorful. They were a little bit messy though. Nothing super memorable or to write home about, but absolutely nothing wrong either! The onion rings were definitely homemade and very tasty!

Was in the area for family day and wanted a place for lunch. This was an amazing pick. Everyone really enjoyed their food.
As a family that doesn’t eat beef we have to always first check if turkey burgers are offered. I loved the option to sub any burger with salmon or chicken as well.
We each got something different but all truly enjoyed what we ordered.

It seems to be really busy when we got there being almost completely full. But the hostess pushed together some tables and sat us immediately.
Our server Tori was great. She answered questions before they were asked which made ordering super easy.
Good came out well plated and reasonable timing considering how busy they were.
The only down side is parking. It’s street parking or possibly garage parking only. And we almost chose somewhere else at first because of this. Glad we ended up finding a good spot in a walkable distance.

With that name every burger should be a home run. It was not. Has a patty melt. I wasn’t asked how it’s wanted it cooked. It came out well done and dry. The seasoning, onions and cheese helped me eat it. The bread was barely toasted with a barely there kiss of butter. Was it probably healthier than those I’ve had before, maybe. But also not a good for $5 more.

Visited before a Hornets game. We got hung up in a parking garage and I phoned to let them know we would be five minutes later than our reservation time. They were gracious. Upon entry we noticed they were packed and asked the likelihood of making tip off for the game. They were honest and said it would be close but they would do their best.
They did a great job of communicating of where we were in queue with our order. Our waitress was great.
The burgers and fries came out hot. They were the best burgers my son and I have had in a very long time. I had the Elvis and it was cooked perfectly. The toppings were just right and didn’t make the burger slippery to where it fell apart while eating. My son had some type of cheeseburger on a pretzel bun. He enjoyed thoroughly and said we should stop searching for places when in uptown because we found “the” place to go.
It was also fun seeing old music videos on the screens. I never watched when I was young and got a kick out of putting a video to some great oldies.

The customer service was really good. We ate lunch(9of us) and were able to sit down easily. We got there at 11:30 am which probably helped that part of the experience. Food was really tasty and their offering was broad enough and intriguing enough that selecting was “difficult ” I had the spicy turkey club and it was really tasty. I’ll definitely be back to try the other things that sounded good on the menu

Get the gravy fries / poutine for your appetizer and the special cocktail menu yields tasty unique drinks and they come beautifully made. They don’t take reservations but if you go early you will get in. The prices are very fair.
Any of the entree burgers will make you happy but I have to say my heart is with the gravy fries. Absolutely recommend. Nothing to change. Very cool hip spot. Drinks are big !

Stopped here for an early dinner on a whim. Never been to uptown Charlotte before so it was an adventure. We chose based on reviews and location as we were just driving around. Although it was not crowded at all, there still was a very vibrant atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and energetic. We ordered a spiked cookies and cream milkshake, and an old fashioned. The milkshake was incredible! The old fashioned was delicious. We both had the Lisa Marie chicken sandwich with the parmesan fries. Good stuff. The fries were very tasty and the sandwiches had just the right seasoning for great flavor. We definitely left satisfied.

We stopped in this weekend and had a great experience. Service was great, but the food was even better. The boogan’s bacon burger was incredible. The burgers are a blend of chuck, short rib, and brisket and you can tell – in the best way possible. The flavor was very well balanced. Fries were crispy and fresh, and the ranch was really good too. I am very particular/picky about my food – I normally don’t even go for burgers but I’m already craving this burger again lol! Vibe of the restaurant was pleasant too. Will 100% be back soon 🙂
