What s fun place to grab s sandwich or have an ice cream. Very family friendly cafe reminiscent of soda shops/ Ice cream parlors of days gone by.
Tabled seating inside and a few sidewalk tables for outside seating
The menu is extensive and varied with sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas , and more.
The Chicken salad sandwich on Texas toast is one of our favorites as is the Greek chicken wrap.
The ice cream is a big hit with everyone
The Cafe is clean and you order at the counter and the young ladies bring you food to your table when ready
They have a working model train that runs continuously around the upper perimeter of the Cafe.
There are various cow themed trinkets and Cafe T-shirts for sale
A small separate play area for the kids
The bathrooms are clean and well stocked
Parking is on street or a lot directly across the street.
I rate it a solid 4.5 with s good fun factor and a unique quirkiness!!

Great art on the walls, and they have a kid friendly area. Lots of options regarding ice cream, personally I thought they were extremely sweet compared to other ice cream joints I have tasted. The food gets the job done nothing spectacular for veggie eaters. The meals with meat were “really good and tasty.”

This place is GREAT! My sister and I both love the ice cream. The atmosphere is great and eclectic. My sister especially enjoys cows so this was nostalgic for sure. They have a party room in the back that’s cute for little kids birthday gatherings. They make their ice cream on site. I tried the blue moo ice cream it was delicious. I thought it tasted like a light cotton candy flavor with m&ms. My sister got the gooey cowphooy with pecans on top she said it was excellent. I will be back for sure when I’m in New Bern again. Beautiful sights to see near by too.

The ice cream selection was great, tasted wonderful and the staff was quick and accommodating. The pricing was excellent as well.
I sat outside and thankfully it was cooler in the day, but the inside could do with a cooler temperature. It felt warm and stuffy inside.
I passed through New Bern for business and I’m content with my choice to stop in here and enjoy a treat.
Give it a try if you’re ever in the area.

I LOVE ice cream. It’s one of my absolute favorite things. I’m so glad we found this place on our visit to New Bern, NC. They had a great selection of homemade flavors and sundaes. I had the “gooey cowphooey” sundae, and it was amazing! The portions were very generous and the prices were very reasonable. I hope I have time to go back before we leave and try the birthday cake ice cream. It has a cake batter ice cream base and sprinkles. My daughter had it and loved it. They also have a food menu! You must try it!

First time here and it’s a cute little shop. They sell food as well but we only brought ice cream. I got a caramel sundae but instead of just vanilla ice cream, I got salted caramel ice cream. That was so good. My daughter got a banana split but she got black cherry ice cream. They let you customize it any way you would like. The ladies at the counter had so much patience and very friendly. There was a mom trying to order but her kids were loud, fighting, interrupting their mom and running off. The cashier just stood there smiling and waited patiently.
