Absolutely amazing! This is definitely the place to go for a proper burger. The staff are lovely, polite and helpful, the atmosphere is so chill. All the food is freshly made and is delicious, the cider is lush too. Fairly reasonably priced for the amount of real good quality food you get. Highly recommend a visit.

The photo shown on Google maps (at the time of writing this) is not where Cow and Apple are – they moved to another place across the street, a couple of years ago.
A little disappointed to be honest… this is the second time we’ve eaten at C&W, the first time was about 12 months after they first opened in the town and whilst they primarily promoted their burger meals, ours were really not that good (overcooked burger and bland fries) this was the same for all four of us in our party.
Haven’t bothered since but on a Sunday morning jaunt for breakfast we ended up here (our first choice location was full and unable to seat us), so… we gave it another go…
Well… just myself and my wife… the place almost to ourselves… ordered our coffees and breakfast… food didn’t arrive until coffees were cold, food wasn’t all that hot (although the plates were?), eggs were set, bacon was a single bite rasher… just not the best?
Glad I didn’t go for their full size breakfast because I would have been even more disappointed?
Shame. I might be missing something, especially as i have always been reluctant to give a second chance but if the place is there to serve the community, then it’s lacking in doing so.

Great selection for veggies and vegans. I had the veggie hot dog and fries which was huge and the fries were so tasty! Lots of other burgers to choose from too and the Nachos starters were yummy. We had the cider flight which was good value for money and a great selection to choose from. Milkshakes looked incredible but was too stuffed to try one. Staff were lovely. Only slight negative was that no one came over and cleaned the table for us, which was proper sticky from the last customers, but all in all, a great little place in central Yeovil.

The food was of a very high standard. Portion sizes were ample. Staff were very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable.
I’d like to suggest a slightly broader dessert menu. Surely, a restaurant named the Cow & Apple should at least have applie pie as an option?

Had a lovely meal at Cow and Apple. Burgers options are extensive. The staff are very knowledgable regarding ciders, we had a selection of ciders to share which were chosen by staff based on our preferences. Food quality is great and locally sourced! Accommodating with amendments to orders and a variety or sides to choose from. The atmosphere was good. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Service was quick without feeling rushed. A lovely evening! Thank you

Out on a dog walk and stopped for an impromptu dinner date with my partner.
We sat out on the terrace area and the staff were attentive,the food well presented and flavorsome and enjoyed the ambience as a whole and felt the pricing was fair.
We will definitely be returning. 🙂

The burgers here are amazing, the chips were out of this world and the selection of ciders made me want to abandon the car and stay all night. The view of the church surrounded by flowers made it extra special. But… The best thing about this place was the staff, no request too difficult to handle. Knowledgeable and friendly.
