I drove by recently and thought this place had closed, which made me sad another small business gone, or so I thought. My nephew asked about the ice cream spot we usually park and walk to, so I drove by to show him it was closed. To our surprise, it was actually open!
There didn’t seem to be a huge variety of options, but the couple working the window was very sweet. There was a bit of a language barrier, which was noticeable during some interactions, and a sign asking customers to order by number. It was clear they were doing their best. A good reminder to be patient and kind. The kids enjoyed their ice cream, and it was nice to see the place open after all.

I think this time, my butterscotch coating on my dipped cone was too thick to harden and create a sugar snap like how I usually like it. It was cold out but my coating was still rather chewy. I should have ordered a small, my medium was a lot of ice cream. Good if you’re really craving a nice amount of soft serve.

This place was a staple in Covina. People come here for ice cream and other treats, but as of late, it hasn’t been open. Google says it’s open, but upon arriving, it is very much closed in the middle of the day. I don’t know what’s going on, but I think Covina Tasty is going to close permanently. Whoever is running the place has ZERO internet presence and communication. It’s just sad because this spot used to be so good.

We found this place by chance. So we ordered a banana milkshake. I must say it was good compared to other places that offer similar milkshakes. If we are in Covina again we will it definitely stop and try a different flavor.

My brother found this place years ago and has been coming here ever since. He’s treated me here whenever I’d spend the night or babysit. It has vegan soft serve ice cream and it’s absolute delicious. They have plenty of options from sundaes, to cones, and shakes. They even have Boba and some food to eat. The employees are always friendly as well!

Decided to try this place because I was in the area. Cute place, nice staff and yummy food. Got the double cheeseburger with fries and a Coke. Got exactly what I was looking for and the Patty had a great texture and savory flavor. A+++

The description was a little deceiving, “old school walk up joint serving vegetarian versions of fast food Staples and vegan ice cream” to me that ment that all the ice cream was vegan not just a few. I drove all the way from Riverside just to be disappointed that it was a few options and only the scoop kind in a cup. On top of that I ordered the vegan chili fries, well first there was no option for shredded cheese like in some of the pictures I saw people posted he had to cut up a slice and charged me an extra dollar I’m used to paying extra but a dollar? And as for the chili Umm well it was just a bunch of chopped up veggies sauteed on top nothing again that resembled past photos. I also ordered the nuggets and almost $5 for 6 mini pieces that’s crazy. I asked if they had a dipping sauce and he handed me a packet of BBQ I said do you have anything else and he brought me a tiny cup of what I think was sweet and sour sauce. Will not be coming back, I should of done better research.
