Fantastic place to eat. Staff were very friendly and professional. The pizza soup was amazing and couldn’t stop thinking about how did I live this long without having this in my life. Fish and steak were also great . I’m not a fish breading person, but the breading on the walleye was crisp and not overly battered. The steak was good perfectly medium rare. I recommend that carrot cake for a disert . Definitely recommend and will be back when I get the opportunity .

We went on Valentines day, mid afternoon, was greeted by friendly staff, ordered beverages and went over the menu items, after about 10 minutes of deciding what to order I went for the combo, 1/2 rack ribs and 2 peices of broasted chicken, waiter said, “we don’t have that” I said “ok” waiter then replied, “well you can order a 1/2 rack of ribs and and 2 peices of broasted chicken” I paused for 5 seconds thinking mmm? said “ok”. After we ate the check came and it was about $6 more than what the menu had that I originally wanted, But, I was ok with it. I would have given 5 stars. Still great food, service, atmosphere.

Well my experience was not as good as I thought it would be, I ordered the Nachos with chicken and most the tortilla chips were burnt or too well done so that wasn’t good, couldn’t eat much of that, then ordered side of ff’s and well they as well were well well done!! Some were even to hard to eat etc!! So I didn’t really get to eat anything, was quite upsetting to say the least!! And bf got a steak sandwich with sautéed onions and mushrooms and the steak was overcooked etc only thing that was actually okay was the Wisconsin cheese curds!! So they was a disappointing dinner from there. I even gave a tip. Probably won’t order again.

Not sure about the “Technology Fee?”
According to a web search……..
“Essentially, the new law is about transparency. While restaurants can still factor in technology costs into their pricing structure, they cannot add a separate “technology fee” at the end of the transaction in Minnesota starting January 1, 2025.”
I also just realized that I did not receive any coins back from my cash payment. Another .53 cent fee?
Hmmmm? Is there a violation of State Law here? How much has been collected since January 1?

My family went today and we weren’t impressed. We started off with one waitress who gave us our menus and took our drinks. Waited a while after to order, and saw her just standing at the bar talking to people. Another waitress ended up coming a little while later to help us. The spicy chicken tenders were burnt and not real chicken, so my sister didn’t get to eat her food..and the cod meal only came with one small piece of fish and some fries for $15. The prices are high, so we expected better. The cheese curds and chicken wraps were good! Overall, not the best experience and seemed overpriced.

A laid back restaurant right off of Hwy 52. The food is great, comes out fresh and hot! The pizza was delicious!! Restaurant is slightly dated, but still very bright and clean appearance. Wait staff was attentive, kind, and quick. We will definitely be going back to the Covered Bridge for food again!

They charged us a miscellaneous fee on each tab, labeled as “technology fee”. This was a mandatory charge that they would not waive. Technology fees are legally restricted in Minnesota. If it’s a mandatory fee, it can’t appear separately on a bill and it must be part of the posted price. If it’s avoidable, you may still be charged, but it must be clearly disclosed and avoidable. They did not follow these guidelines. Instead of doing this to your customers, increase your prices on each item by 50 cents.

Perfect place to stop on the way down to the distress area. Food was both good and reasonably priced. We got there shortly before 5 pm on a Friday, and the place quickly filled up, always a good sign
