Came in without a reservation at about 6 pm. Was told brunch was ending, and we would have to wait until about 7:15pm. The hostess who initially greeted us never returned to tell us anything. We were seated by another host. Now let’s talk about the food. The Cove Crab cakes we DELICIOUS . Where they lacked in customer service, they picked up in delicacy. The crab cake was amazing. My besties ordered the oxtails, they were also good. I had the shrimp cove rasta pasta. Very tasty. The food was definitely better than the service. Our server wasn’t that bad. Would definitely give them another chance to see if any improvements can be made. Drinks were so so. I ordered the passion fruit mojito, and it was totally missing the passion fruit or mango. The Exotic Cove was really good.

Had dinner with friends here for my birthday. My friends and family had to pay $250 deposit up front for the reservation. I didn’t know this part until the day because my family planned it for me. I would have told them- no thanks. So we get to the restaurant and we were sat down immediately. Cool. Paper menus and waters on the table already. All waters had lemons in them as well. The server Stephon came to introduce himself and took drink orders first to allow us time to get familiar with the menu. I noted that Stephon was the only waiter taking orders !!! There were like 8 tables with families of atleast 3-4 guest! Which started to affect how fast we got our orders on time. The bartender was tending to the guest sitting at the bar more than the guests sitting at the tables. Everytime the one waiter would go tell her something she seem to roll her neck at him or act very nonchalant. I understand as she is trying to work for tips but not cool. We had reservations for a reason, larger table =more money, duhhhhh!!! The lychee martini was made with no lychee. That’s the main reason people order these !! SMH

Food was great service was… typical for a west Indian restaurant. Decent music off of pandora but I guess whoever was playing the music shares the account with someone because it kept getting interrupted. Restaurant looks great tho, especially if you like taking pictures, it is scenic. No complaints about the food or drinks. Things a bit pricey for the area but was worth it for my date night with the wife.

I came here with my family to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday. The food was amazing from the starters to the main course. Everything we ordered was perfect. I wish we could of thanked the chef personally. My mom said the food reminded her of being back home in Jamaica. Thank you Cove for the amazing food and experience.

Who would have known? The servers here are amazing, the food here is a MUST TASTE if you want some jamaican food. So far, I only had what you see in the pictures. But I can tell and pretty much imagine that everything else is good. I will probably try oxtails next time just to see, but the Ackee and saltfish is good and the dumplings are soft, fluffy, crispy and so good. Also, the fried chicken in the chicken and waffles was well seasoned and amazing. I should give it a 5 stars, but the location is very local and urban.
