We ordered food tonight and when my husband got home this was the soup. It’s supposed to be full the guy working tonight claimed his name was Archie and claim to that the store manager’s name is Oscar and got extremely defensive when I asked if there would be a best time to call back to be able to speak to the store manager as we were hoping to be refunded for the soup that we did not get. If ur out of soup just say that… Don’t serve something that is inedible(it smells off) and 1/3 the way full…. Its the cheddar broccoli… Does that even look normal to yall? No. It doesn’t. Lol at all. The guy on the phone got aggressive and defensive and it was not a good look.. We would still like to be refunded as we did not receive what we ordered. The calls recorded and everything else we have pics of. Also the sub bread tonight has fresh in the bottom stale and hard on the top… So the storage of the bread isn’t u to cousins standards. Hopefully the store owner sees this because that was quite bogus and super not cool.

Update:

I was offered coupons and discounts… They wrre going to be mailed to me… And I never received them… So that was super cool of their “manager” after my last review (have call recorded in case anyone wanted that proof too)

I came in at 6:30 to get a meatball sub and was told that they did not have any meatballs left because they had a order for two subs at 5:30 and it takes 45 minutes to heat the subs up. However it’s 6:30 and they still have no meatballs for my sub and the guy named Oscar the manager tried telling me that he can’t get me any meatballs absolutely ridiculous.

I have a few food allergies, some of them severe. I know that Cousins has food with my allergens in it, but I’ve eaten here before and the precaution I take to avoid cross contamination is to ask that whoever makes my sandwich to wash their hands, change their gloves and make it on the paper rather than the sandwich surface. This ask has never been a problem before, but today I watched as the guy ringing me up put only one new glove on and didn’t change the other…and when I pointed this out he argued that he had just clocked in and hadn’t touched anything – but i watched him touch the register to ring us up and the cookie container (the thing with peanut cookies in it that can kill me).
Is it really that hard to follow a simple ask? And then to not only not follow it but to argue is insane. I understand some restaurants can’t “guarantee me anything” if my allergen is in the building. This is something I hear often, which is why I ask for very simple precautions. This isn’t just about allergies either, fresh gloves or hands before touching food is basic food safety.

We also got charged for fries that we didn’t order, and my partner’s sandwich came with lettuce when she asked for it without. A complete waste of $25.

Love Cousin subs. The subs are top notch. The bread is perfect and the fries are the best in my book. Thin, crispy on the outside and soft on inside. Plus generous fry helping.

A lot of other reviews hit a majority of my concerns. The one I’m not seeing is the food prep safety. I’ve worked in a professional kitchen before, and can assure you that the practices the employees take here are bound to make someone sick. Kitchen staff should not be wearing their winter coats with faux fur hoodies up while prepping food, no apron (jacket was unzipped and rubbing on prep surface). Sub prep surface was covered in dried wilted lettuce (bacteria!) and clearly old food. Philly steak was maybe 2 out of 10. Not too mention 2 subs, order of chicken, and two drinks was $36.

Review really reflects cousins in general. Been a while since going here, Good food but almost $20 for a 7”sub a small side and small drink? Easy to see why I come here at lunch now and then and barely any customers. Go to any subway at the same time and way busier. Cheese curds and fries are good, just way overpriced.

The girl wasn’t listening very well when I tried to order. Yes, I forgot to say no vegetables but, I did say toasted! She made a new one without vegetables but I told her again I wanted my sub toasted! She only toasted the bread and not the ham and cheese! I cam an hr away to have Consins only to be disappointed.

Disappointed to have paid extra for a side of mac that was less than half full, looked like it had been sitting out for a while, and had a large hair in it. The picture I included was of the cup immediately after taking the lid off—I hadn’t moved anything.

UPDATE: they had me reach out to the store manager, who eventually stopped responding after offering me a $5 refund that I never received.

Mixed experience. Ordered 2 sandwiches with a coupon. Got home and the BLT had no tomato on it. Took a pic. Ate it anyway but stopped back there and reported the problem. The manager was nice enough to offer me a free sandwich. So they made a mistake, but made up for it. Credit for that.

This was my first time here and I have to say that it was ok. The sub was good; not great and the fries weren’t bad either. However, nobody told me the difference between the half and whole sub. Come to find out the “whole” is 2 regular subs put together. It’s no wonder my meal cost $18.
