My family and I had just returned from Iowa and were looking for a place open to get food. As there were not many options. Yes, it was close to closing. But I was not expecting such poor quality food that looked like left over scraps from days prior. I typically go to cousins in Mequon to order my veggie sub (the food is always great). But that was not an option for us tonight. I understand it was close to closing. However, this is not an excuse to serve someone food that looks like this! And then I had to pay for this! And the sandwich was not even made the way I requested, despite being asked to repeat what I wanted. It has been years since being at this location due to a bad experience. And unfortunately nothing has changed. I would not recommend this location. If I could have given a 0 I would have. I will not be returning to this location.

I wasn’t very pleased or satisfied with this particular Cousins!! It (they) used to be better!! Again, it’s very difficult in this day and age to find good food, good service, good&clean atmosphere, responsible, mature, dedicated, etc., reasonable prices, etc! It’s not even worth going out to eat anymore because employees neglect their responsibilities (and/or keep up)! The foods cold when they give it to a customer! Then, an immature (or two) when confronted, starts laughing really loud!! It almost to the point that one mediocre[(s) Cousin(s), can/will spoil it for the rest! We won’t be going back to that cousins ever again! I * my brother have noticed going back and few years that it’s the employees attitudes, personalities, indifference, etc, that causes a negative experience along with negative review(s)! And we believe this will only continue with quite a few fast food etc., )restaurants) as more &more individuals are being to quickly hired….only to find out….either shortly thereafter or after awhile that those individuals(employees) weren’t who they portrayed themselves to be!! It’s sad and it’s a big reason why more and more restaurants are recei ing numerous complaints, and losing more employees, and customers! In order for those restaurants to make up the slack, they raise prices, the discounts change, ….everything changes….for the worse! All I can say is….they tried!! This gies out to all restaurants where the public visits and expects 5 star quality across the board!! Quality, cleanliness, and service was and still….today needs to be paramount!! No exceptions!!!

Overall, the sandwiches are expected. The french fries were a little pasty today in terms of color and crispiness. I will say that almost all of the tables were not wiped down in the floor was quite dirty. So if they could fix those things I think this location would be great!

Waited more than 30 minutes after placing my order for two cold sandwiches (no sides or drinks) in the drive-thru to receive my food. I ended up lugging my infant inside to check on things and waited another 10 minutes. I was told it was busy. The restaurant was literally empty and two cars were sitting in the drive-thru section of the parking lot.
This location is consistently slow. I should have just run into Aldi and got all the supplies I needed across the parking lot in the same complex. Would have taken less time and would have been less aggravating.

Had the Chicken Cheddar deluxe sub. Pretty good. Add the pickled peppers, very good! Lettuce wasn’t fresh. Small sandwich was perfect size for lunch. Place was fairly busy and has a drive thru. I’ll be back.

Manager took his friend’s order, then proceeded to turn around and ignore me until he finished doing whatever he was doing.
Philly cheese steak tasted.. raunchy. Couldn’t even finish it. Bad meat? Bad experience. Worst cousins.

Avoid. Absolutely frustrating experience with the service. Arrived at 1:45pm on a quiet Sunday—no cars parked and none in the drive-thru. Yet, it took a staggering 20 minutes for a single sub. Staff, all equipped with headsets, were aimlessly standing around; one young guy even danced idly. Aliyah, handling the subs, showed absolutely zero urgency. Gabby took 5 minutes just to scan my rewards and pay. Only one person inside ordered a sub, which they received at 1:54pm. Two subs were placed on the app order shelf by 1:57pm. With four vehicles waiting behind us (from what we could see), it was already 2:05pm. Gabby finally appeared at the window without recognition of my order, then gave attitude when I asked for her coworker’s name. It’s obvious there was no team lead working. Finally home, opened up my sub to find brown lettuce and lettuce ends, I trashed the brown lettuce and made due. If I were the manager, I’d swiftly put up a “We’re Hiring” sign. We’re local and came frequently, not anymore. What a joke.

Slowest service there is. Ordered 1 sub and waited 20 minutes. What’s crazy is there was only one person else in the place.

Since moving to Wisconsin, many people have said to try a sub from Cousins. I got a free sub coupon from a volunteer event, so I figured it was the perfect time to try them out. I got the cheesesteak with extra mayo and a side of curds. The sandwich was great. It was very flavorful, and the bread was the perfect texture. The toppings were stacked but not overloaded, which is how I like it. Overall, I’d gladly get another sub here.
