Heres what happened…
Ordered food at 5:10 to be ready at 5:29. Walked in restaurant at 5:25pm at 5:54 the entire restaurant had their food, even new customers who walked in, and Im still standing there with no food. When i asked what is going on they then tried to scrape the bottom of the fry bin to fill my fry order with fries that were made 10 min earlier & my subs had been sitting there just as long. I said this is unacceptable and I did not pay for old food especially since ive been standing here. I said id like new food or a refund, the 2 younger workers proceeded to argue with me instead of apologizing and making new food. To hand somebody whos been waiting almost an hour for 2 subs and 2 fries some old food is just crazy. The one worker with braids, looked like he was to high to know what was going on, brought fries to the counter dumped them on it to “show me they were fresh” and then asked if i wanted them. No sir, i do not want food youve now walked around the store with & dumped onto a dirty counter. Your manager seems nice but has no clue whats going on. He shouldve stepped in & had them make my order fresh and he stood there with his head down trying to avoid the entire situation. They chose to refund my money instead of making the order i placed an hour ago. Your manager had to call someone else to find out how to refund my money & still couldnt fig it out & gave me cash instead. The other worker just kept walking back and forth going “ma’am ma’am but but”.. again no need, I just wanted what I ordered and Id expect it fresh like Ive received every other time. Basically it comes down to I ordered food and shouldve received fresh food iust like i saw all the others getting in the 25 min i stood there.
I sent this to Daisha at corporate 6 days ago and RECEIVED NO RESPONSE.
Ive had bad experiences here before but Ilet them go bcuz this location has new workers every month and now I can see why…
Called to speak to a manager and was laughed at. Never again at this location.
I decided to give the store another chance today, but once again, there were serious issues. My order was mixed up, and the larger sandwich — which contained an allergen — was given to the wrong person. This kind of carelessness with food safety is unacceptable, especially when allergies are clearly mentioned.
I shouldn’t have to worry every time I order a simple sandwich. I really hope the staff and management take this seriously and implement better training and food handling practices before someone gets seriously hurt.
Anyways. The food was good. Despite being short handed they greeted everyone and food was done quickly.
The two girls really killed it. Running a restaurant on your own isn’t easy.
The location was one coffee machine away from being my new work station. It was peaceful with outlets right above the table. Perfect.
