I had been craving Cousins for weeks and finally treated myself and needless to say I will not be going back. Guy taking my order was more preoccupied with their work conversations so he somehow misheard me ask for double ham and cheese only. My sandwich had a bunch of veggies and mayo on it, and when I went back in to get a new one the lady asked me if she could just take the stuff off to which I said no, and asked her to please make me a new one because that’s not what I ordered. She seemed annoyed and then she disappeared so a guy came out of the back and made me a new one, but proceeded to give me seemingly the oldest bread they had available, and definitely did not put the double cheese that I paid for on it. Brutal experience, even worse sandwich.

Absolutely awful. I have a dietary restriction and cannot eat mayo, so i specifically order my sandwiches without it. The last THREE times I’ve gotten food from here, they put mayo on despite my explicit request not to.
Don’t bother getting food from here, it’s a massive waste of time.

Visited this Cousins today at 4:34pm. I am 9 months pregnant and wanted cheese fries. Pregnancy cravings are strong! I paid almost 6 dollars for cheese fries and received fries with approx 1 Tablespoon of cheese on them. Imagine my disappointment. Pregnancy hormones made me cry.

Did a catering order for party subs for our daughter’s volleyball team. They were super nice, got the order ready ahead of time and the food was great. The lady who took my order was extremely helpful and at pick up they offered to help carry everything out to my car. It was great! Team loved the food.

I ordered the $10 meal deal online. The first time I ordered it I was told I had to order it online, it can’t be ordered at the register. I got bit by a tic inside while sitting waiting for my order. I had to wait at least an additional 20-30 minutes after the estimated time their website said it would be completed. It was during a peak time and they didn’t have enough employees working at that moment. Every time I come to any cousins subs location I request my sub not to be “gutted” and they remove bread every time. This time they forget to put bacon on my sub that I paid for and there was also a large piece of green pepper skin larger than the biggest cheese curd I ordered. They made some bacon and gave it me in a cup so I can place it on my sub instead of them throwing away my sub and making a new one. The order taker/drive thru employee apologized for my sub having no bacon. Another serious complaint I have is the music always seems to be way too loud inside at this location. I’m a fairly laid back guy, so this stuff doesn’t really bother me, but most people would be upset the service I continue to get at Cousins Subs. I order a complete meal here at least once or twice a month. Sometimes I’m pleasantly surprised by the service. Other times I’m disappointed

Closed at 8:15 pm on 10-31-25. Hours say open till 9 pm. I know if there is one thing I love about a restaurant, it’s inconsistency. Will it be open? Who knows?

For a Cousins sub this one is 5 star. The bread was so fresh it was warm. The sub was put together very nicely, not slopped. Perfect amount of mayo, cheese and the spinach, lettuce, tomato and onion were fresh. Great taste with a touch of oregano. Great Job Cousins Sussex!!!
