Cousins Coal Fired Pizzeria is absolutely delicious! The pizza is top-tier, cooked perfectly, and made with very high-quality ingredients. The restaurant was spotless, the service was friendly and attentive, and everything about the experience felt well done from start to finish. Easily some of the best pizza I’ve ever had . I would go back again every day without hesitation! We got the Chelsea pie and the Detroit deep dish. They were absolutely the best pizza we have tasted in the Wilmington area. last but least we had their cannolis and when I say these were homemade and out of the world tasting, they truly were !!!!! everyone in Wilmington needs to go to this place.

Tried this place out for the first time tonight and it is very good! Sauce and cheese were great and I loved the addition of fresh basil. There was zero flop, a real nice undercarriage with perfect char on the outside of the pizza. My only critique would be that it was thicker and denser then I would have expected by looking at it. I was expecting a very thin crisp crust and that was not the case (except around the outside of pie). Overall, really good and I’m happy to have a coal fire pizza place in town!

The best pizza that I’ve had in Eastern NC and it’s not even close. It’s delicious New Haven Style. The cannolis were great also. The staff was super friendly. I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because I was hoping for a few tables, but overall I cannot wait to go back.

We’ve heard Cousins Deli downtown is outstanding but reservations are months out so never made it in. We were excited when we heard they were opening a pizza place and tried it out their second night. My wife is from Brooklyn and a pizza snob. We once drove from Vegas to Phoenix just to try a pizza place we heard about…outstanding. Cousins is excellent!!! Had their simple Chelsea pie so the crust was not overwhelmed with toppings. The crust is the key and it is perfect. Great flavor, just the right density and very satisfying. Highly recommend!!! Brooklyn approved.

Just when I thought cousins deli couldn’t get any better, they open a pizza place just off college near Harris teeter. Authentic Italian coal fired pizza with tons of fun unique options to enjoy. We opted for the Haley pizza and the Dotti. Both were perfectly cooked and the flavors were amazing. I prefer a thinner crust and enjoying the flavors of the toppings. We took our pizza to long leaf park to enjoy.

The pizzas were so good! We ordered three just to try different ones! Each pizza had the perfect toppings to crust ratio with quality ingredients! The crust was cooked perfect! I’m not a huge pizza person but I will be back because these were amazing.

I ordered the Detroit deep dish pizza for the first time, and this was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Wilmington. The sauce was delicious. The crust was very crunchy. You can hold it at the edge, and it’s not floppy. The pepperoni and spicy sausage had great flavor. I will be back to try the other kind of pizzas.

Pizza is probably my favorite food in all its’ styles and forms, so I was thrilled to find this place so close to where I live. It was highly rated, and I’ve had good experiences with coal fired pizza in the previous cities where I have lived. My wife and I ordered the Nana (white pizza with potato and rosemary), and the Famiglia (similar to a Supreme). Both were great in their own way and we will definitely be ordering from them again.

Uncle Joe knocks it out of the park again! We live their Cousins Deli downtown but super excited they have a Coal Fired Pizzeria much closer to us. We had the Dotti and the Vivi and we are debating which one is better but it’s unanimous that these pizzas are incredibly delicious!

I think the pizza here is good, but it doesn’t quite live up to New Haven style pizza from Connecticut that I grew up with. I was excited to try Cousins, and while I enjoyed it, I wouldn’t call it outstanding. There are a few other spots in Wilmington I’d probably choose first, but I could see myself coming back if I’m in the area.
