Tucked in the corner next to a huge Home Goods store is this little gem of a breakfast and lunch step back in time.Started by Trudy and Simone,Canadian sisters, the new ones keep their traditional popular breakfasts going to the delight of the locals who know good food ,reasonably priced served with a smile in a clean, cozy small eatery .We tried omelets, the ” Country ” with sausage ,cheddar cheese and veggies and the” Courtyard” scrambled with cheese and veggies( the hot salsa was best added to this) served with Raisin or wheat toast .Home fries just the right amount and texture, not dry .Coffee was good as was the Lemonade.” The party melt” ,a lunch item was the right size of beef patty with cheese on bread. If you want a traditional New England breakfast/ lunch simply served..this is your place .no reservations, ample parking, handicapped accessible, kid friendly, but not for large parties

Interesting place came across the locals
Have a lot of story about this place. It’s open over 34 years it’s average but felt like staff was lost dirty plates left at counter where fresh food goes out.

33 Years in the same place, same staff, they must be doing something right, Great prices on excellent food. I’ve read the reviews from people that have given it 1 star. These must be people that can only accept 5 star service, and everything else is 1 star. I understand some of the things you complained about, and maybe you did have a valid point, but 1 star, and to imply that the waitress was suffering from dementia, come on, grow up. If you made reasonable criticisms, and rated fairly, people would take you seriously, but you just make yourselves look mean and vindictive. All over an undercooked omelette, etc.

The waitress has dementia, the cook is rude, the food is just OK, and the place is kind of dirty and smoky because the kitchen opens up to the dining area! They overcharged me for something that was supposed to be included on their specials that day and then the cook/owner started an argument with me because I wouldn’t pay the difference. I told her to take it up with the 80+ year old waitress who is crazy and then I left and told them I wouldn’t be back!
