This is my first time trying the food, AND I’M NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!! Heard great things and my sister and I came in and automatically we were greeted by the cashier (GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE)!!!! They were playing house music and most importantly what I loved, this place was clean. We did a walk in order wait time was about 10 minutes. We finally got home to eat the food and let me tell you my sister and I WILL BE BACK!!!!
Food so good I had to call them and tell them that they did their big one. My sister ordered two oxtail with cheese empanadas, one honey jerk, and a strawberry mint tea. I ordered two oxtail with cheese empanadas, two chicken with cheese empanadas, and strawberry mint tea. Also, I found out that they cater. Which is really good, because I’ll be planning my daughter birthday soon and I know she’ll love the chicken and cheese empanadas.
The only issue is finding a parking spot but they’re pretty quick with getting your order in and completed. Keep up the good work everyone and we’ll be sure to tell everyone about this restaurant!!!!

i was wondering why this place went viral from a post for the past month i could not get into this place the lines were a block long what is this place doing that has lines going down a block long. These empanadas are the best i have ever had they are stuffed to capacity i had 4 but could only eat one at a time honey jerk is very very spicy the oxtail is like shortribs omg delicious i also bought the garlic shrimp salmon and the beef haven’t tried them yet. the service is exactly what I would expect very good. the atmosphere is unique courtesy of Ai i loved it. now i taste what the fuss was about. One suggestion there should be a spice warning for the honey jerk chicken.

I stopped in this restaurant to get lunch and when I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a busy place. I was greeted and ordered:

It took about 10 minutes. My favorite was the spinach and artichoke followed by the shrimp and cheese! This was a great spot!

YOU MUST TRY THE OXTAIL AND CHEESE!!!
The food was very tasty and the empanadas were generously stuffed (packed with protein) and worth the price. It would have been a 5 but I did not enjoy the chicken empanadas, I think it’s the type of chicken they use for example white meat vs. dark meat.
The service was good, especially considering how busy they were since going viral, though you do have to wait a while. They closed Uber Eats and phone orders the day I went, but I patiently waited and everything turned out fine.
The atmosphere was okay, the decor was nice. I would like to see a few more chairs out front.
Overall it is definitely a must-try.

Hubs just bought me some of these delicious empanadas after seeing someone on instagram. They’re absolutely amazing and filled with savory deliciousness. I tried the salmon and hubs had the oxtail. To be clear, these are jumbo sized and not skimpy at all. What a wonderful twist of traditional empanadas.. I would definitely recommend them.

The portions are very generous. I was actually surprised by how much meat is packed into the empanadas. They are definitely juicy and filling.
However, the flavor needs improvement. The chicken tasted like it may have been pre shredded with seasoning mixed in afterward rather than marinated, seasoned, and cooked together so the flavors develop throughout.
I also ordered the chicken and cheese empanada, but the cheese was mostly at the bottom, so the flavors did not really come together in each bite.
Empanadas are a craft and the way the fillings and flavors come together really matters. The concept is interesting and with some refinement to the flavor and balance it could be much stronger.

Nooooooo!!!! I am a big foodie and I love to try all new local spots, But this was not it unfortunately. I got the chicken and cheese empanada. The chicken tasted like canned chicken. It was extremely chewy and the cheese was shredded cheese from a bag. The oxtail Empanada was extremely saucy. It was a starchy sauce as if they mixed potato purée within the oxtail. The taste was bland, No Caribbean Flavors. I got the strawberry mint drink, which tasted like strawberry Minute Maid lemonade. I was very surprised as it was a lot of In-N-Out and it was super busy. However The aesthetics of the place was gorgeous!!! Very artsy!! But the empanadas not it.

I ordered from here before and loved the oxtail and cheese. This time I wanted to try the garlic shrimp so I ordered both on Grubhub at around 7. Disgusted to say that as I was halfway through with the shrimp empanada, there was a dead fly resting in it.
