Such a cool “locals” joint. It’s a place you don’t find much anymore. My friend and I had never eaten Maryland crab so the owner/waitress/cook (yes she was all 3) even took time and showed us how to eat them. They were fresh and delicious. Definitely a great place to relax and enjoy a meal and drink! We also got the blackberry cobbler to go and it definitely hit the spot later.

Love this place. Great seafood meals, Mom still cooking, Rockfish was wonderful. Onion rings are crisp and fresh. Best part was the warm, homemade, blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream.

Seafood shack that time has forgotten. Super friendly staff and the broiled fish platters were absolutely delicious. Great little spot to hit if you’re in the mood for some top notch Maryland seafood.

Courtney’s is a hidden gem in Ridge, MD. I hesitate telling you this because my selfish side wants to keep it a secret. The food here is always amazing! I highly recommend the crab stuffed rockfish.

First off, the seafood seemed hyper-local and was very good. The fish basket was tasty. The crab cake was fantastic. Although I wish they advertised that fries are an upcharge. Service was slow, but only the two owners seemed on duty. What truly upset me was the obnoxious political displays. Fox News loudly playing, anti-Democratic Party and anti-CNN posters. You’re free to have your opinions of course, but a business is public-access; why turn off visitors? Shouldn’t you be welcoming to all?

I was excited to visit as I had heard about the fresh food and atmosphere. The host/server was very nice. The food was ok. Note I didn’t get the fresh fish which is the only thing I’d get if I went back. The bill was $76 for 1 glass of wine, oyster appetizer (6), chicken tender basket (to go-was cold and really bad, but it’s a seafood place I get it-so maybe don’t charge $16 for frozen chicken tenders) and asparagus appetizer and 20% tip. When I went back to question I got $5 back-which brought it down o $71-obviously still a mistake because it didn’t add up-but I let it go. Check your bill! I’m all for supporting local-but that was an expensive lunch that was mediocre.

This restaurant had a beautiful view and was I’m sure popular with the locals but the silverware was dirty. The server was kind but we were the only ones there when we went. The food took longer than expected. It was ok, but greasy. My daughter and I had stomach issues perhaps because we don’t often order extremely greasy food regularly. There were crayons and little figurines for the kids to play with but my husband found them on his own. This perhaps was a really great place back when it opened but it has seen better days and the years haven’t been kind. Not horrible. Not great. Great view and off the beaten path. I was able to take pretty sunset pictures.
