My wife and I randomly driving thru historic Gloucester for the first time and happen to come across the Cereal Plug. We were greeted by the friendliest staff and explained the business and all they have to offer. I must say it’s more than an ice cream store and they offer food as well. The food is top quality and the ice cream and the plethora of toppings will not disappoint. If you have little ones or even teenaged bring them along as you all will leave satified. BTW she supports first responders, military retired and active. It’s a great environment and ALL are welcome. I highly recommend to stop in and ask for Gail (Owner).

I liked this place, they had lots of flavors of ice cream, and lots of ideas.
It kind of borders on the line of interesting and weird lol……..but hard to go wrong with ice cream.

Me and my sister come here ALL the time. The owner Gail is so kind to us. She’s very welcoming and we love her!!! The service is very good, we come every Tuesday on shipment day and the new cotton candy ice is TO DIE FOR. The fun activities are a blast as well. The only bad reviews I’ve seen are from her ex co-owner and his stuck up family. Everyone that’s actually gone there has said all positive things!!!

The most expensive ice cream and cereal you’ll ever eat. There is no menu to tell you the price of things so at checkout you’re shocked when you see the total of $54 dollars for a family of 4. The owner seems to have absolutely NO patience with kids. She was rolling her eyes while my 3 year old was explaining to me what she wanted. Overall not worth the price.

The ice cream is awesome, such good combinations. I haven’t been disappointed with anything I’ve gotten so far. The service is excellent. We got the Cappuccino Crunch ice cream with the Oreo puffs cereal topped off with chocolate drizzle, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. Will come again.

Went a while ago with my bf but finally decided to review, my coffee ice cream drink was great and everyone was lovely (shout out to the adorable little girl who immediately greeted us) but most importantly I just wanna take a moment to appreciate the amazing atmosphere. As a queer disabled woman it can be difficult to feel fully comfortable in such a conservative area, but the second I walked in I couldn’t help but appreciate the welcoming environment. The cereal plug does a lot for the community, beyond just yummy treats, and that’s exactly why we should continue to support small businesses like this one.
