First time here and it did not disappoint. Everything on the menu sounded good so I asked the waitress for suggestions and what her favorite thing on the menu was and ordered that. The Osama’s Steak Calzone and the Osama’s Chicken Sub were absolutely delicious. Atmosphere was fantastic, service was excellent and the food was phenomenal. Highly suggest you eat here if you haven’t before!

I’m from Lincolnton and have eaten at the Court Street Grill many times. Now I’ve had the same experience in Hickory! Same owner, who happened by our table to ask about our dining experience. Excellent service by staff that seemed very happy to be there. My salad was very good.

This place is not bad if you can get past some service issues. Like everyone else I assume they have hiring issues. Be prepared for some slow service, not being asked about refills and check to go orders for accuracy. Burgers are very good, calzones are huge..i mean really, really big. The cake isn’t what it used to be and extremely overpriced. Some of the food is not prepared on premises. All in all not bad but keep expectations to a minimum and don’t forget your wallet

My husband and I enjoy eating here quite often. He loves the gyro and the pita points with cucumber sauce. The cucumber sauce is excellent. I love the Stromboli and pizza. So good. I also order the baked spaghetti, which is very good also. The staff here are so nice and helpful.

Our family of 5 all got something different and everyone cleaned their plate! My 13 year old inhaled his HUGE burger and said it was the best he’s ever had! My husband says it was the best gluten free pizza ever! We will be going back! 🙂

Not all first time restaurant experiences go well. We have been looking forward to trying out Court Street Grille. Most of the reviews that we had seen were favorable. The waite staff were friendly. We came in at 1pm Friday, Aug. 28. I ordered a Gyro roll up with fries. My wife ordered a small pizza and fries. The food was cold. Fries were stone cold. My Gyro was soggy and had wilted lettuce and did not have chopped tomato or blue cheese in it. My wife’s fries also were stone cold as was her pizza. Her pizza had way to much cheese and was just an unappealing mess to look at. The waitress asked if we wanted “a to go box” because we had only taken a couple of bites. She asked how we liked the food. I told her it was the worst food that we have ever been served. The manager blew us off and did not come out to talk with us. Fortunately he did not charge us. Needless to say we will not be returning or recommending Court St. Grille

Lunch time experience: First time visitor. Plenty of options to choose from! There’s a little something for everybody. The service was above average and the time for our food to arrive was very quick! I was with a group of 5 people that I worked with.
I had the Gyro which was delicious, and I’ve had Gyros while travelling to Greece. Court Street’s Gyro was really close to the caliber of the overseas taste. Others in my group had food (Calzone and Pizza) that they ordered come out looked and smelled delicious as well.
My group and I will definitely be back for lunch. I will also be back for dinner as I hear that is the best time to come.

The food was great, but the service was very poor. Especially considering that we were 1 of only 2 couples in the restaurant. It seemed the employees were more interested in hanging out with each other and their friends that were there.

Oh, boy is this good food. The attention to detail and quality is super. This is freshly made (not “straight from the freezer”) food in a lovely, comfortable restaurant. You will not be disappointed at Court Street. (And I have eaten in the Lincolnton and the Mountain View sites. Both are great!)
