We chose Course Restaurant for our anniversary dinner, and it was the perfect choice.
From the outside, the restaurant is unassuming, but once you step inside, the phenomenal food and exceptional service truly shine. Our server was attentive, professional, and helped make the evening seamless.
For our visit, the 8-course Fall 2025 menu was served, and I can honestly say every single course was a masterpiece. The chefs are incredibly creative, delivering beautiful flavors and presentation that truly looked like art worthy of a picture on the wall.
Our server recommended a lovely bottle of wine that paired perfectly with the diverse courses, elevating the entire meal. While some might consider this an expensive spot, given the quality, creativity, and entire experience, we felt it was a great value.
If you’re looking for a special occasion spot, or simply want to experience a truly creative and thoughtful fixed menu, you absolutely must come here. We loved their commitment to seasonal and innovative dishes. Highly, highly recommended!

This is an amazing place. I had my birthday there and to be honest I thought it may be a bit overpriced but it’s not! This is something you have to try and it’s totally worth it. I wouldn’t call myself a fine dining expert or food critic but oh my god this food is fantastic. Something to remember forever and I bet we are coming back for my wife’s birthday. Everything tastes incredible and very unusual, very creative and fills your mouth with flourishing tastes. They also gave me an extra dessert for my birthday and it made 3 desserts overall which was too good to be true. Non alcoholic mocktails tasted like real cocktails and as someone who went sober it gave me that feeling of a “proper party” without breaking my sober streak. The place didn’t look super fancy and was maybe a bit dark (not illuminated enough) but that’s just my opinion, it’s a great place and I highly recommend it.

Last night my partner and I got to experience one of the best meals of our lives. From start to finish, not a single detail was missed and their special Valentine’s Day menu was full of unexpected surprises. The cocktails are also unlike anything I’ve encountered before. Arizona has some incredible bars but what Justin is doing at Course is different…Ok back to the food. I didn’t know it was possible to prepare meat, seafood, asparagus or textures and sauces so perfectly. Every dish was its own little dream world that chef Corey and his team clearly took great care to prepare. If you haven’t been yet, go. This is the kind of restaurant you’ll be telling your friends about for months because there’s nothing like it in the valley. From the pacing to the ambiance and steps of service to the gift bag at the end with house made popcorn and Fiji water with a copy of the menu made our night so special. It’s authentic and unique unlike any other dining experience. It excels in a way that feels effortless.

I’m all about these types of pre fixe menus, and this one was exceptional. Every course brought out was tasty, beautifully presented, and unique. I was stuffed by the end, and even my husband was completely satisfied with the quantity of food of the 8-course tasting menu.
The setting was modern but intimate. The staff were all amazing, helpful, and personable.
And the DRINKS were so original and delightful.
Generally a bit costly, but 100% worth it for us.

Went here for a birthday dinner over the weekend and just, wow. The attention to detail in service was the cherry on top. As someone with culinary background in fine dining, it was an extra special experience to be able to watch everything unveil.

I was given a hook to hang my purse at the table immediately by their lovely hostess. Our sever came over and gave us our menus to read over what we’d be experiencing throughout the night. Our drink orders were taken after feeling confident about my wine choice and served within seconds. The Amuse was a fantastic opener for what was to come. Every protein was cooked to perfection. Every sauce was made with intention.

Our server/bartender Justin was phenomenal. He cared about what he was telling us and you can just tell he has passion, and as someone who works in the industry it’s SO refreshing.

7/8 of the courses are worth talking about for days after. The only course I was not fond of was the cold app course. It was smoked salmon with chunky apple and some onion and it just felt like a tuna salad in all honesty. It was the least complex when it came to flavors and I just wasn’t impressed with it. But that did not taint the rest of the experience or the dishes.

Overall I had a great experience and this is definitely a place to come and celebrate a birthday with your significant other!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Justin and the entire crew at Course were absolutely fantastic. Whether it was the clever dishes, the spot on wine pairings, or the Spaceballs themed cocktail menu, the entire experience was top-notch from start to finish. The service was also impeccable. I have been to multiple Michelin star restaurants, and Course is right up there with some of the best ones that I have been to. I will absolutely come back.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and got a welcome glass of delicious prosecco! We both did wine pairings, very well paired with the dishes. The presentation and flavors of each dish were so unique and delicious! Definitely add the foie gras if you can, one of my favorite dishes we had. We got to meet Corey, the chef, he was so nice and I could tell the staff liked their jobs and worked well together. We will be back next time we visit Scottsdale!

This place is BONKERS good. Each course had me saying, aloud, “this is the best thing I’ve ever eaten.” I chose the 5-course dinner service (there was also an 8-course offered). The standout for me was honestly the amuse-bouche at the beginning which was a macaron with caviar and crème fraiche, I could’ve eaten ten and it still wouldn’t have been enough. The octopus surprised me as well in its grilled perfection. Shoutout to service team members David, Alex, and Justin who took great care of me during my visit. Pic of bartender Justin’s majestic lychee fortune cookie cocktail for my review tax. Seriously though – can’t recommend Course highly enough for the 10/10 service, food, and ambience. Can’t wait to return!

This place was very highly rated and I know the chef has won multiple awards, so I had high expectations especially when I don’t come across many tasting menus in PHX or superb ones. Taking a look at the menu, I might’ve been underwhelmed with just reading descriptions but I can say these dishes are way more elevated than I expected and enjoyed more than I would have thought. Service was outstanding as well, I believe our server’s name was Kat? Anyways she was incredible and continued to check up on us constantly. My fav dishes of the 8 course summer menu 2025 was surprisingly the BLT (I was questionable about how a BLT was to be fine dining and I usually don’t even like BLT) and the sea bass. But overall I enjoyed all the dishes, so many unique flavors that surprised me like the aerated chimichurri! My fiancé and I enjoyed our experience. Small restaurant seating and a little tight but very intimate.

Tuesday night the 23rd of December. The restaurant was fully booked. I called the restaurant and asked if we could squeeze in at the bar and they were able to accommodate us at 5PM when they opened. We were greeted by the manager and formally introduced to the entire FOH team. Because we had been in before, the Chef came out personally to greet us, we felt very special. The dining experience was amazing as always including amuse bush, cocktails, a wine pairing, to-go bottled water and mignardise (cookies & chocolates to go). Not only was the dining a tasty, wonderful show, but the cocktail program was also the best we have experienced. I highly recommend you try this restaurant and experience some of the craft cocktails. The young gentleman behind the bar is very knowledgeable and entertaining. In order to fully appreciate the passion of this exceptional “CRAFT” mixologist, you should request to dine at the bar. The show is very interesting and educational. Food & Beverage at Coarse are a wonderful artistic expression not to overlooked in Scottsdale.
