My family have been Couqley fans since they opened 10+ years ago. After the destruction of the port explosion we felt the quality fell a lot. Luckily, with the return of Chef Alexis Couqulet the restaurant is back to its former glory in our opinion. The consistency and quality that made us choose it over and over have returned! Hallelujah! I measure ALL Creme Brûlée by THIS one. Salads are always dressed perfectly, not swimming in dressing. The steak frites is so good! Not only does the flavor and quality of the meat come through but the revised Couquley sauce is like it was before! So happy to have this restaurant to count on for excellent quality again! I hope he re-adds his famous Fois Gras to the menu!

We used to come here all the time back in 2017 and we decided to give it a shot years later and ever since we couldn’t stop going. The food is always so consistent and super good, quality is amazing, the chef knows exactly what hes doing. They waiters are always so helpful and professional especially Yasser our favorite waiter who makes us want to come back every time! Love that they serve hot bread and butter at the beginning it’s next level. My favorite lunch spot. Also super romantic for a casual dinner date 10/10 recommend !

I was happy to come back to Couqley, in Ashrafieh. Last time i came was 8 years ago. I was surprised to see that the place was deserted on a Sunday Lunch! There were only 4 tables full out of 20/30 tables…
The atmosphere/ambiance was nice, the service was fast and professional, the food was ok but nothing exceptional, the menu is way over priced for the quality that you g et!! That’s why they they loose customers. Their prices should get reduced by 30/35%.
If you ask me, will i come back?
Not before a couple of years, we weren’t all impressed.
The food was acceptable but not mouthwatering for you to want to come back! The only bad meal was the bone marrow, it tasted blend and not well seasoned at all.
