They also served a large amount of unique Venezuelan coffees. Very interesting, esp with all that is going on with that country (have close Venezuelan friends).
This place is worth the visit, but parking is not easy. (I parked at Bevmo, picked up a drink, and made the 50-ft walk over…)
Dark mocha uses real dark chocolate cause had that bitter sweet cocoa taste so add sweetener if needed. Place has okay parking. I had a u-haul so had to park down the street but everywhere in the area has bad parking. Fairly priced!
I was there little before closing (5pm) around 4:35pm, I asked the lady, if the kitchen is open and can I order for here, she said yes, no problem
Then I made the order and by the time the food was ready it was around 4:50pm
I sat inside and started eating, I was half way through my meal, it was just little passed 5pm, she told me sorry we’re closed – sounding the same way as you would say “you gotta leave”. I asked just 5 more minutes, but she pretty much kicked me out – she said you can stay, but it’s gonna be pretty loud. I had to go outside, eat and finish the food while standing
And then when I told her that you could’ve just tell me that we can’t do for here at this time and we can only do to go, then there wouldn’t be any problem – and yes, I was a regular customer there and I knew about 5pm closing time and that’s why I asked in the beginning, is the kitchen open and can I order for here – she said, yes. If, you were gonna pretty much kick me out, then why you said yes, you could’ve just tell me that we can only do to go and make it to go – there wouldn’t be any problem in that case. Instead she ruined my mood and I couldn’t eat my food as normal human being !!!!!!
I understand that she was the only person working that day and she might’ve got little tired, but still what she did was wrong. She started closing loudly by moving tables, scratching almost, almost like telling everybody it’s time to leave even like 5 minutes before closing
I’ve been in lot of restaurants and if, you’re in middle of your food, they let you finish and they tell you nicely that we’re closed or we’re closing soon, not like this !!!!
I will never come to this location anymore and won’t recommend it to anyone because of what I’ve seen today !!!!
The 2nd time we had turkey avocado wrap and an omelette. They were both so good.
Everything there is very fresh and homemade. I highly recommend it. I even downloaded the app because next time I’m in MV, I will definitely go back!
The spicy Maya mocha with slightly reduced sweetness was so good. Really delicious. Matcha latte is also good.
