We were visiting the area for some business and stopped here for breakfast one day and lunch the next day. The food was generally very good and the waitstaff was extremely friendly. The ham pot pie and the Rueben were both great. However, I would not recommend the crab meat omelette.

We were very pleasantly surprised! Our lunches were delicious and pretty reasonable. Great portion size and quick friendly service. I highly recommend the roast turkey.

On our vacation in the area, we had to try this place. It definitely has that down home, country, home made and kind feel. And the food was DELICIOUS!! And the prices were great! The staff was very friendly! We will have to come back again next year! Or possibly even make a trip just to eat here! My husband said the fried mushrooms as a side were the best he’s ever had. He really liked his roast beef platter with mashed potatoes. I just love me a reuben so I had to try theirs and it was delicious! With homemade bread! And the cornbread was just right. I also had some homemade pie too! Yum!!
We definitely will be back! Highly recommend!

Yes, I am a local, but this is a great restaurant. If you are driving route 35 between Selinsgrove and Mifflintown make this the place you stopped to eat. They have a very large menu. It can get very full at times, but you will be glad you stopped. You will enjoy a country style meal and a great country atmosphere. I am going to show you a couple breakfast pictures. Strawberry French toast was one of the specials And the other breakfast is the inexpensive combo. Everything on the menu is good. I’m sure it will be a hard choice for you, but you will not leave their hungry or disappointed

This isn’t a fancy gourmet place (it’s in small town Pennsylvania) but the food, especially local and regional favorites, is very good. Prices are reasonable. Serving sizes are generous. The wait staff are really great. We were with a party of 25 following a Memorial service. Our orders were handled efficiently and the wait staff were kind and cheerful (qualities that seem rare these days). One child was on a bland diet and the staff suggested several ideas and the kitchen made sure they prepared her meal in just the way she needed it. I’d make the 45 min drive to eat their Schnitz un Knepp again.

Your perfect small town eatery, that is family friendly! Plenty of delicious ‘home-style’ foods on the menu to choose from. Friendly, helpful staff!

First time in but won’t be our last! We do a date night with the neighbors once a month and he saw County Line pop up on his Facebook page and thought that would be a good place to try out. The italian sub I got had so much meat and it was unbelievably fresh! I have never had such an amazing Italian sub!! Loaded fries were great, I just wished they served liquor based drinks in addition to wine and beer. Highly recommend!

Goose Day, of course all four at table ordered goose, pulled apart, on stuffing with gravy however you like it. Pictured. My sides, lettuce with hot warm bacon dressing, Harvard beats, and a little cranberry sauce. Fresh rolls and great mint house brewed ice tea. Warning at many restaurants after your main selection it is easy choosing from limited standard sides. At County Line there is no time to pat yourself on the back for your main choice cause now you must focus on choosing from 20 or more side dishes! Enjoy but leave room for dessert, choose from their in house made sticky buns, cakes, and pies. Today the special goose cake was chocolate with peanut butter icing. The goose on each slice was a chocolate goose with coating.

Lovely diner located off 322 in central Pennsylvania. Lots of seating, quick and friendly service and large portions! Opens very early and seemed quite popular!

This was our first visit after the remodel. Restaurant is clean & bright. Food is delicious and waitress friendly & efficient. My only disappointment was no fresh lemon — only those awful lemon packets, that taste horrible in your tea and on your seafood. Please carry fresh lemon. Also, an option of a vegetable plate where diners can choose a number of your sides as a meal. That would be very nice.
