We got takeout, one meat and two sides. I ordered the pulled pork. It was lean without fat or gristle and delicious. The Lima beans, fried okra, hush puppies were delicious! My husband ordered the fried chicken and it was great. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back. My meal was enough for two meals. My husband cleaned his plate

The BBQ has definitely changed. After 60 years. The hash and rice was excellent.

Haven’t been here in a long time, was anticipating that all you can eat buffet. That was the only disappointing part about the visit, staff was friendly the food was good. I had my heart set on the all you can eat buffet.

I’ve been there twice, they nice but each time I was disappointed with the portion size. I got the meat and three sides. The food is ok but the portions are SMALL !!!. I was told they’re different owners so that maybe the issue. Under the previous management the portions were great. You had enough food left over for the next day because honestly you could not finish it all. They’re charging the same price if not more and giving much less food. They need to either give decent portions or change the prices. I won’t be going back unless the portion sizes have change.

Don’t let the outside of this no frills joint fool you. Inside, the all you can eat buffet of southern cuisine, is absolutely delicious! You pay when you enter, the line for the buffet forming on the right. The buffet includes hash & rice, mashed potatoes, assorted vegetables & casseroles seasoned to perfection, tender ribs, crispy fried chicken, pulled pork , etc. They have a salad bar that is top notch too. Try the ambrosia! Staff is friendly and efficient, every bit of the place was spotless. I didn’t ask but I believe they may even have some type of takeout, pickup system as a heard a bell ring occasionally while there… This place was pure sunshine on a cloudy day. Glad to have found it!

I went with my wife we thought it was OK. They mixed the foods as prepared or take-out plates and it put a bad taste in your mouth it looked like it was an old restaurant a little run-down small country hole in the wall, but overall a decent experience! I would recommend Countryside BBQ for a cheap, decent BBQ and soul food meal.

Decided to try Countryside BBQ for the first time and was disappointed. First off, the “drive thru” area was very confusing, I did not see a window just a whiteboard and a menu. Passed that by thinking there would be clear signage of where to pickup. Ended up having to go inside to get the food. The food was very good, the only thing is that I wish the portions had been a little bigger. I’m all for paying for what I get but I feel like the two thin ribs, and small scoop of Mac and cheese (delicious btw) were not worth what I had paid for. I was loaded up with French fries (the cheapest option) but was not very satisfied with the amount given for almost $30.00 of BBQ. Will probably go elsewhere unless I dine in and can see how much I’m being given.

Now I don’t know if it was because I came at 8 o’clock and it closes at nine, but the food was lukewarm and tasted like somebody’s leftovers. Another elderly couple that came in shortly behind me around 8:20 and they seemed like they were rushing to get everybody out I thought it was kind a rude.I tried a little bit of everything The best thing was the cabbage the green beans in the homemade pork rinds. The chicken was good but not any better than anybody else. I was kind of excited because I heard that the ribs were good but they tasted like they were boiled and then seasons. As I said everything even the meat except the chicken was lukewarm. I would not go back unless I was super hungry and had no other way to warm and ate food up.
