Excellent experience. Everyone was friendly and caring. We came with a group of 16 and we all left full and happy. My family ordered the Taste Everything. It was all great. Thanks Joe and everyone at Countrymen BBQ! We will be back for sure.

Open one day a week. Saturday from 5-8 or until sold out. We were 5th in line at 4pm. We ordered the “Taste of Everything” for $125, feeds 5-8. We took bowls a cooler and ice. This 2 hour meal was delicious and most ventured home with us on ice. 2 meat plates with two sides were available for $20/each .

Countrymen BBQ is definitely my choice for the best barbecue in Oklahoma! It’s only open on Saturdays at five and I highly recommend getting there early to wait in line. It’s worth it to have your best chance to get what you want from the menu. They sell out quickly, so be forewarned. I got the “Taste of Everything” platter and feed my family for multiple days. While everything was honestly elite, the dino beef ribs, spare ribs, and brisket are probably the headliners. Also, make sure you get the sides. The green beans are delicious but the other sides were right behind them. I can’t post this without adding how incredible the service was as well. The owner and the staff were absolutely spot on with how they treated everyone that came through the door! I definitely recommend you head to Inola and check this place out.

Excellent BBQ! Exceeded our expectations. Everything was well seasoned and tasted great – brisket, pulled pork, ribs, bologna, baked beans, etc, etc. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Both inside and outside seating. Not far off highway 412. It’s definitely worth it! Be sure to check open hours. You’re gonna’ love it!

Pulled up 5 mins before open and the line was already around the building Waited like 1.5 hrs . They were handing out beers for sale while we waited, which was kinda a W. Tbh, wish they had a faster setup — Texas BBQ got that part down better. Copped 6 Dino Ribs and they slapped fr . The Mexican corn? Bussin’. Vibe inside was trendy and mad chill. I’d def spin the block again.

Best bbq in Oklahoma I’ve had. Beef ribs are top notch and remind me of terry blacks beef ribs. Thank y’all so much and I will be back!

This is a place and an experience that demands – and rewards – thoughtful, deliberate action. Eat very light the day of, probably even the day before. Get there an hour before opening, at the absolute latest. Bring a friend, or two, or three. And definitely keep some extra cash on hand for “line beers” while you wait (or bring your own, as long as it’s a sixer of Quttin’ Time).
The pulled pork alone would run half the establishments in Memphis out of business, but that’s just the undercard as far as we’re concerned. The great white whale of BBQ, the beef rib (or, in Countrymen parlance, the Dino Rib) – puts Texas powerhouses like Cattleack to shame. And to top it all off, make sure you save some room for the bread pudding at the end.
This is a place that spends over 40 hours preparing food that is only served for three hours every week, and I hope that never changes. Joe and his team represent an uncompromising bulwark against a world that prizes instant gratification at the expense of quality. There will come a day when you’ll have to be here at 5 AM for even a chance at the best these folks have to offer, and when it does, I’ll be there with a Quittin’ Time in hand and five more to share with whoever manages to show up next.

The wait was right an hour & 20 minutes on a cold drizzle Saturday , as you wait in line and decide what you will choose to eat you discover as they run out of an item they come erase it from the menu board , luckily I scored some ribs, burnt ends & sliced brisket, it was very moist and great smoke flavor, I had baked beans (2servings) they were pretty good.

We got a little bit of everything, Take in mind I have eating BBQ from about 16 states, I LOVE BBQ! That being said, I had Ribs, Brisket, Burnt Ends, Rum Cake, Street Corn, Mac and Cheese.
The ribs are not good in my opinion to much seasoning, and there is such thing as too much smoke flavor to the point it tasted like burned wood smells, The brisket was very good, tender fall apart good! Need to throw some lite bread in there to soak up so much grease is my only complaint, Burnt ends were great! No complaints. Rum Cake is great! You can taste the flavor or rum! The sides are very lacking not a fan at all mac and cheese is more like stuck together noodles with melted cheese that wasn’t very melty. So few sides to choose from would love to see more! Lemonade was fantastic! Id probably go back for brisket, but not worth timing it cause they are only open on Saturdays for about 4 hours.
