I ordered a latté online and picked it up before heading into work. It was getting towards their closing time but they still had some people coming in for ice cream. The latté was decent besides the milk being slightly burnt. Would definitely come back to try their ice cream and will update my review. Cute little shop with a drive-thru.

Country Style has been around the Quad Cities for a while, but I only remember discovering it in the last 10 years or so. I remember visiting their ice cream stand in Moline after a family event of some kind years ago. I remember really liking their soft serve. I had a craving for some sort of soft serve tonight, which provided the perfect opportunity to try the Country Style location on Utica Ridge Road in Davenport.

The design of this location, both inside and out, definitely speaks to a “country” aesthetic. Immediately outside the entrance there’s a picnic table and one of those painted signs you can put your face through to have your picture taken. The interior has a kind of rough country aesthetic to it, as well. The floors consist of a light wood laminate throughout. Several rough wood doors/panels hang along the walls, while the ceiling consists of a drop ceiling with florescent fixtures and diffusers spaced throughout. The walls are a light teal paint, except where covered by subway tile on the backsplash of the prep area. It’s simple and rustic – a nice design for a simple ice cream shop.

I opted for a twist cone and water, which were both provided quickly. The twist cone tasted exactly as I remembered – firm texture, but smooth and full of both chocolate and vanilla flavor. I could get this everyday – if it weren’t still cold out right now perhaps.

I’m a little sad Country Style is closing this location, but really that sad since they’re opening up another location in Bettendorf close to Crawford Brew Works. This is closer to my current residence, so it will provide easier access to their fine product. I look forward to more ice cream cones in the future. Thanks, Country Style!

Got a large hot fudge sundae with a side order of hot chocolate syrup they use for dipping cones. Every bite of my Sunday was like a small dipped ice cream cone. Yum. You need to try it. Was delicious add the staff was awesome

Absolutely worth it! The best ice cream I have ever had. Quantity and quality. Whitey’s has had the monopoly and drastically increased their price and lowered their ice cream quality and quantity. I am glad that there’s a place in town that surpasses Whitey’s. Country style is way better!

I was originally a Whitey’s ICE Cream fan when I moved to the cities in 1990, but my wife turned me on to Country Style. The soft serve reminds me so much of homemade churned ice cream, with a firm texture and a BUNCH of creamy flavor. To enjoy your shake or malt (both are fantastic), save your straw because you’ll need a spoon!

I come here a lot, I feel good every time, but this time I feel that the staff is not welcome at all (unlike yesterday’s staff, the service is very good) they just talking, don’t say hello, no other customers. I was waiting for order, not too long. But I felt they just want to talk with the other girls…When I gave her money, gave me some change back like she’s not willing, the coin falls, it’s good to say”sorry”… Maybe They’re very tired..if busy, I understand, but it’s not in that time about 4.15 pm.
