I have gone here a few times and I would say that this is the best place to get a delicious Pennsylvania Dutch style breakfast! The donuts are amazing, but are only served on Saturdays and all the bread is homemade.

So glad that we picked this place. It was absolutely so heartwarming and comfortable and very beautiful! Inside The bathroom was totally immaculate. I wish that I can give them bigger than a five star. Probably one of the best restaurants I have been in a long time. The food was excellent, came out in a timely manner. There’s probably about 25 to 30 other people there and within 10 minutes we had our food. Drove four and a half hours to get down here. The whole place was absolutely clean. Nice Amish waitresses that were very pleasant and worked well together and bounced around. All our drinks are totally full all the time and that smiles on their faces. I think my waitress name was Carissa. I forget long drive. Little tired. Hope you do not sidestep from the beautiful service and quality of food you have. God bless you and your restaurant ❤️

Went for breakfast, service was great, everyone is friendly. The homemade bread is amazing, the coffee is fantastic. If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault. We couldn’t resist the homemade donuts on the way out and ended up leaving with half a dozen of those as well.

I loved this place and often ordered their brisket sandwich. Today it was disappointing. Half the meat and 1/4 of that was fat. Very little barbecue sauce. And meat was not tender like before. Basically a soggy roll and one layer of thin sliced meat. The waitress didn’t comment about all the trimmed fat on my plate so I guess that’s the new standard. My partner got a turkey club. It was not a club and consisted of very little besides 2 slices of bread. I’d rather pay more and get a good sandwich although the price was higher than it should be for what we got. Very disappointing. One more good place bites the dust.

I was used to this being an Amish dry goods store but now it’s a full fledged restaurant This place was buzzing! Clearly not a secret amongst the locals . Delicious omelette! Fast friendly service. A tiny bit off the beaten path but well worth it . I come to the area a lot and was used to driving down to Shippensburg for eats! This would be one of two great places very near to the PA Turnpike

Though apparently they don’t normally offer subs, the Country Store filled our order perfectly, and had them ready and waiting for us to pick up.
Everything was of excellent quality, and we definitely hope to buy from them again.

A hidden gem! Food was very good. Menu is limited for breakfast and nothing fancy – no egg white omelets or specialty omelet items – but you don’t need them here! The breakfast items are generous and delicious! I had the haystack, biscuit, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and country gravy. Yummy! This doesn’t come with toast (not that you need it) but I did taste my husband and oh my so good!
I’m not a donut person but tasted the cinnamon roll and peanut butter chocolate glazed and they were amazing!! Peanut butter one was good enough I might even get one myself the next time we go!!
