Always seems like there are a lot of great places to eat in strip malls. Meridian Park Shopping Mall has one of those serving up some great sandwiches and sides.
Peppa Pig had lots of pulled pork peppers and was toasted very nicely. The ham and cheese sandwich was the unexpected star. It’s just a ham and cheese sandwich but it’s so good the bread was fresh, tomatoes were ripe. It had the right amount of toppings and it was well constructed.
The side of housemaid potato salad really hit the spot with the sandwich.
Great prices, friendly service, and good quality food will get me back for more .

We each got Cubanos and a side, sandwich’s were ok, heavy on the mustard and light on the ham and pork. Sides of mac and cheese and macaroni salad both tasted good. 3 stars only because we both have had upset stomachs since eating it

I came in for the first time today for lunch and while the food was really, really good the gal behind the counter was AMAZING.
From what I saw myself, she was pretty busy and she handled it very well. She greeted everyone and smiled the entire time and was doing everything she could to get the food out in a decent time. Being as she wasn’t offered any help, everyone was patient with her and very understanding.
I asked for pasta salad, but she said she wasn’t sure if she had any so she suggested the potato salad if they truly were out. Thankfully, I love both and said that was fine. I ended up with the potato salad and it was perfect! She said she had just made it that morning so it was fresh!
I originally was going to eat in, but the last table available was taken by who I am assuming is the owner / manager right as I turned to sit down so I requested to get it to go. The gal working smiled and got me a bag no problem.
Between taking orders, making the food, ringing up guests, and making the sides all by herself – I hope you all take good care of her.
She said she should have pasta salad tomorrow, so I will definitely be back to get some!

This review is long overdue! This place is AMAZING! I get holiday hams from Country Sliced Ham, and the process is seamless from ordering to pickup. With a busy lifestyle, I appreciate this so much! Not to mention that the ham is the best ham we’ve ever had! Oh and, their sandwiches are SO good! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable owners and staff! The Bear was full of flavor with lots of meat. Potato salad was solid and you could tell was made from scratch- not your generic “from a tub” stuff. Loved the pickles too. Will definitely be back for the Cubano!

The food here just tastes like “home”. The Cuban sandwich was to die for and I love being able to watch the team make my food. Even the ranch dressing is homemade! My family also loves all the take & bake and supper club meals which are so convenient to get to now that pick-up is available on the northeast side of town. Don’t “eat out”…just get Country Sliced Ham and tell your kids you spent ALL day cooking; they’ll believe you!
