This place has a lot of home cooked comfort food. They tend to get a little busy, but the service was good and the food hot & tasty. The place is well maintained and a nice hidden gem. They do offer outdoor seating as well. I definitely would return and try something else on their menu as my meal was sooooo good!!

Atmosphere good. Food okay not hot. Pancakes where rubbery. Biscuit was outstanding. My coffee had lots of coffee grounds in it. The fellow filling cup just poured more coffee in the cup rather than getting me another cup.

Drove up from Modesto to give this place a try. I saw lots of beautiful pictures of all the different dishes. I’ve never been here before so this was my first time. I ordered the country skillet as seen in some of the pictures. However mine did not come on a skillet. At Best, this is what I call mediocre cafeteria food. The biscuits and gravy did not have the flavor that you would expect. The potatoes that’s another story. The sausage taste is it had been frozen and quickly thawed out. The portion sizes are fabulous! They are huge! No complaints there. The server did not come to ask me how things were with my meal. They didn’t offer to refill my coffee until I was done eating. The place was not packed at all. I was so disappointed. I look at pictures first before I go places that gives me an idea of having a good culinary experience. When I go to a place, I want to leave four or five stars. I understand that this is peoples livelihoods. Customer service is huge as is providing good quality food.

Food was bland no flavor gravy was not done the right way. Tasted like it came from a box. Nothing country about the food. People made me feel uncomfortable, couldn’t enjoy my meal. Coffee was good. Just wish they would learn how to cook real country food not those store bought stuff. I’ve been a chef for 15 years and cooked real country food and real southern comfort food. What a shame. Oh if you come here it’s mostly white people there so be prepared if you are from a different race. Will never go back there to this KKK restaurant.

Poor service. The server only came to my table one time during my meal to top off my coffee. The server passed by my table many times and never stopped again to refill my coffee or how the meal was or if I needed anything else. I completely finished my meal and stacked all my dishes and things on one plate. I then sat silent for at least. at least 5 minutes before the server came to my table to give me my check and didn’t say a word and was about to walk away before I stopped her to ask for a glass of water.

Was rudely waited on by the manager. And then was told that I could not bring in my 2 year old food into the building for her to eat. She’s allergic to a lot of foods so I bring her special food from home and the manager told me that she can not eat her special food for outside the restaurant. I think that was rude and inconsiderate and my daughter was sad & confused on why we were leaving. The managers there are very rude not to mention it took like 20 mins to get a menu or drinks
