The country scrambled cafe in splendora has a great Breakfast menu to pick from, the food and service was wonderful. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating , we soaked up some fall weather outside. Would definitely come back again for Breakfast

What a friendly place. The service is always amazing and the food is pretty good. Admittedly I have had a few times where the potatoes were a little dry and/or the sausage and bacon seemed a little dried out but I would say 8.5-9 times out of 10 the food is solid.
I especially love their breakfast but they actually make a great lunch place too, as long as you get there before they close at 3:00.(Actually try to get there by at least 2:30, don’t be one of “those” people)
All in all this is a great restaurant with a super friendly staff that makes awesome food at a pretty good price. No complaints, which is rare for the area. Definitely give it a shot for breakfast or lunch if you’re heading north on 59.

When you want to find a perfect example of a “hole in the wall” place to eat, this is it! Very friendly, down to earth atmosphere with great food.
Everything I have ordered here has not disappointed.
The country fried steak and eggs taste like you’d expect it to taste, just like country home cooking! The omelettes too are quite tasty. I’m not a fan of grits but on a whim I decided to get then and was impressed! The side of potatoes are tough to pass up though. My wife received about the French toast. I’ll take her word for it, I don’t do sweet for breakfast. The coffee too was pretty good. I usually decide if I go back just for the taste of the coffee. So not disappointed either.
I must admit, if you’re coming here expecting something fancy, turn around and go somewhere else. The food is served on paper plates, with plastic silverware and coffee is served in styrofoam cups. I guess this eliminates a dishwasher? Besides I usually go on Sundays, having freshly rolled out of bed!
They accept all credits cards, but if you pay cash you’ll get a 3% discount for doing so. Can’t blame them!

Okay but who told these people to throw down like this? lol my hubby and I are new to the area and wanted some brunch/lunch, local dining. So we came here! Mannn the menu is extensive so you have a lot of options! And I had some onion rings that were so good that I ordered a second serving. My Chicken Fried Chicken was delicious and everything tasted fresh. Plus to top it off, Karen, our server was the cutest and sweetest. She called me “baby” a lot which … how did she know I like that!! lol we cannot wait until we return!

1st time here and will definitely go back. We went for breakfast and everything tasted great. Food was fresh and came out hot. Potatoes were seasoned perfectly. Service was fast and friendly. Recommend 10/10

Food was not good! I ordered Chicken Fried Steak and over easy eggs and the Steak was cooked in very old grease and had a nasty taste. Both eggs were over hard and I do not like hard yolks at all.
I ordered 2 kids’ mini pancake meals with strawberries. The Strawberries are soaked in a strawberry flavored syrup and it made the pancakes super soggy and slimy. Neither one of my granddaughters would touch them. I had to spend 10 minutes taking all the strawberries off of the pancakes and clean the containers the food came in to get all the strawberry syrup out, then wipe the slimy syrup off the pancakes and am still fighting to get them to eat the pancakes. All in all, a waste of $40 something dollars. I won’t be going back. Food was nasty! Save your money.

Service was fantastic! The food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this spot over the surrounding fast food options. If you’re in Splendora, you must stop by and check it out. I especially recommend the bacon cheeseburger and veggie omelette. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
