I didn’t even realize this was a little fast food joint here in Rochelle, I haven’t lived her too long, but now that I do know it’s here, it might just become my go to.
It definitely a big step up from the McDonald’s or Wendy’s fast food if you’re looking for something different.
I got a double cheese burger, and it was delicious, the meat tasted fresh, it was well seasoned, my only complaint would be that there was a lot of mustard pretty concentrated in one area on the burger, but that’s such an easy fix!
My husband got a gyro. He said it was really good too, but I did not come with sauce or cucumbers on it. Again, easy fix. It was only our first time there, so we didn’t know what to expect.
And the kids meal comes with an ice cream cone! Obviously, my son loved it.. but that was all he ate haha.
Oh! And the mozzarella sticks were so good! Very stretchy!
My only complaints are that the drinks were a little on the smaller side and the wait was kind of long, but seriously, no big deal.

I really wanted to say nice things about this place, but after giving it a second try, I was let down again. The first time I got the chicken — it was not awful, but also not something special made especially for the price. To be honest, I would say that the chicken made by Jewel-Osco is cheaper and tastes better.
On my second visit, I chose a gyro. Unwrapping it, I saw a long black hair inside — a hair, which is from one of the female workers that day, no doubt. It was like a total mood breaker. Moreover, the meat looked like it was already prepared, not freshly cut from the shank, and the onions that were in the sandwich completely took over the flavor.

The food is not very good and you dont get much of it. Ordered Italian beef. Paid what you would pay to get any old beef in IL but its about half the size you would expect. Fries are cooked in old oil.

Im always excited to go to country school for their chicken. The last couple of times it had been horrible. One time the chicken tasted burnt and today the chicken was dry like it was old. My mashed potato cup was only half full. Idk what changed but I hope they get this fixed.

This place has gone downhill. We used to come here multiple times a week when we lived in town, decided to stop on our way through. Prices are up, and the interior is falling apart. Table we sat at not only wobbled, the top was coming off from the base. We ordered chicago dogs. They were tough and super soggy. We couldn’t get past the 1st bite, had to get a refund. The manager was understanding and handled it well. However, we will not be returning.

Omg!! I’m up here on a business trip and I wanted something different to eat, so the guys suggested” Country School”. At first I was like” WTH”, after I went in and saw the prices I couldn’t resist. Very friendly place. The young ladies that work there are very polite and well-mannered. I’ve been there twice already. Wish we had a place like this back home( Atlanta)!!

The chicken is nasty, some pieces were dry while others were super slimy. The breading is dry and hard, the mac n cheese tastes like school food lunch, the food came out uncomfortably fast and the whole place stunk, barley an napkins, no bathrooms, and the seats were dirty. Overall I would not go again and would absolutely not recommend.
